The restaurant is part of the Hampton Inn hotel & located in an area of dowtown Portland that is a skip, hop, & a jump away from so many different places. There was a major snowstorm a few days ago & we conveniently went downstairs without braving the elements to grab a bite at Sebago's on the first floor. We ordered caesar salad ( which was so so, nothing to write home about), calamari with peppers in a red tomato sauce (wasn't really good), thai sauced chicken wings (would not recommend), pork dumplings (something I'd recommend) & fish bites (something I would order again). I also ordered the blueberry pie with ice cream the following night & although the filling was good, parts of the crust were a little stale & chewy. Two others from my group ordered the chocolate peanut butter dessert & they said it unfortunately wasn't that great. The atmosphere on the other hand was good. The service seems okay, but I think it depends on who you get. One night the waitress we had brought a table of 8 a regular pitcher of water & 8 glasses...which would have been fine, except the pitcher only filled 1.5 cups. Not sure i'd recommend the place if you're not already staying at the Hampton Inn. Otherwise, its a decent enough place to have drinks and maybe some appetizers - not for a full meal, if you're driving in. It really does more for the hotel, in terms of amenities, than it does for itself as a standalone restaurant.
