I was tired and cross. We were seated immediately where we asked (so we could watch the chefs cook, entertainment and dinner!). Service was expert, friendly and not fawning. Food was expertly prepared and the appetizer and cheese plates were artfully selected for taste pairings. Roasted kale lifted the beet salad with chevre out of the routine and into original and sublime. My sole Francais was served in a sizzling skillet, and for once no one said "be careful it's hot" which pleased me, since it was so OBVIOUSLY hot. Delicious. Even the squashes, not my fav, were scrumptious due to the basil green sauce. Masterful restaurant. I left happy.
