“Flatbread Company: An Organic Heaven”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2010

According to Travel Junkie Julia (www.traveljunkiejulia.com), Flatbread Company is a sensational mix of simple, organic meals using nitrate-free produce, contrary to FilsProdigal's (below) belief. It sounds perfect for hippies and alike.

Julia talks about the Coevolution, a flatbread with Kalamata olives, fresh rosemary, red onions, oven roasted red peppers, goat cheese, mozzarella and garlic. And it truly is delectable!

“Get me out of here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2010

Dirty/ funky. Marginal food. Maybe it works if you are in the "On the Waterfront" mode; it didn't work for me for pizza/ flatbread. Could be that its a reflection on the local culture. Maine folk are not elegant people; this place is far from that.

“Don't Miss Out on Fantastic Pizza”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2010

I can't stop thinking about how great the food was. Get a table outside (you'll share with other people) and enjoy the atmosphere. The salads are amazing and they can make your pizza any way you want. Well worth a visit.

“Fresh, tasty and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2010

For a twist on a pizza restaurant this is is great place to come for a bite to eat. Unusual, organic combinations, great brick oven in the middle of the restaurant. Great for families, not to sure about those wanting to dine in peace and quiet!!

“My kids are obsessed with the pizza and so am i!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2010

Pizza, flatbread..whatever, my kids are obsessed with it. The menu is somewhat small but the ingredients and final product are second to none here in Portland. We go in the afternoon and they is usually plenty of room for the 4 of us. Ive heard at night, especially on the weekends the place is packed. The waitstaff is very casual and laid back. Dont expect 5 star service just awesome pizza (flatbread).
