This hotel not only has location +++ but EVERYONE that works there is nice and helpful to the over and above point. The rooms are great, the service is impeccable.. I can't say enough nice things about this place- will return.

We stayed at the Garden Inn Airport because of an early flight the next morning. The room was $190 a night after taxes which is definitely overpriced. I would recommend staying downtown Portland in the historic district for the same price and have a lot more to do within walking distance. The Portland Airport is only a few minutes from downtown and very easy to get into and out of so there is not need to book a room at the airport.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights with friends. The room was a standard two double bed room and had a fridge and microwave--which was nice. The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport, so perfect for someone who has to catch an early flight. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. A breakfast buffet is offered for free to HIlton Honors Diamond members, but otherwise you have to pay $10--which is overpriced for what is offered. There is free in-room internet and a free business center with copier and printer. Unfortunately there is only one computer terminal in the business center, so you have to bring your patience when someone else using the business center! If you need to stay near the airport and/or have a rental car and the Hilton Garden Inn fits your budget, it's a good choice. However if you are without car or plan to walk around Portland, stay in a more centrally located hotel.

I had a bad experience at a Hilton years ago and avoided them like the plague until my last trip. I was experiencing a major flare up of a mold allergy after staying at another hotel and switched to this one as I was told it was just two years old and the chance of mold was slim. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way and to my great relief, provided me a place to recuperate from my allergy flare up. I’m sold. I’ll choose Hilton garden Inns from now on.

Large comfortable exceptionally clean rooms. Nice pool. Extremely convenient location (right on the airport property – a 30 second shuttle ride from the terminal). Fantastic staff. Excellent breakfasts. decent business center. A great value even though it is expensive.
