My e-reservation specifically indicated accommodations for 5 adults, but when I received my confirmation, it indicated 2. I contact the hotel directly and spoke with their front desk. They confirmed my reservation had been received and asked if a roll away bed could be provided. They assured me it would be added to my reservation request. On the day of our trip, I called the hotel to inform them that we would be arriving late and to confirm the roll away bed would be available. I was again told it would be. After driving 8 hours, we arrived to find that the bed was not in the room. Contacted the front desk and was told that one would be immediately brought to the room. After 15 min, I contacted the front desk and was told their entire roll away beds were in use and they were checking with other properties to locate one. After 30 mins, I contacted the front desk, this time we were told the bed could not be accommodated. We were then told the small couch in the room could be pulled out into a twin size bed. But given the layout of the room, it meant physically moving furniture. The next morning we found a bill for hotel parking. Given the situation, we felt the hotel should at least waive the charge. When we spoke with the manager and after some discussion, the matter went unresolved. Given our advanced efforts to ensure a roll away bed, the inconvenience and the treatment received, the least the Hotel could have done would be to comp a $12 parking fee!
