Overall this was a really nice location. Rooms were clean, lobby well maintained, and the staff was very helpful. It is the furthest from downtown of all of the downtown hotels. It is in the backyard of the Shipyard brewery, so if you enjoy the aromas then this is the place for you.

Be aware that you need to order a scenic view to get one... The suites do not have any water views!!! They are nice rooms, but you end up looking at the garage or inner courtyard.

Whenever I need to spend an evening for an early morning training or a meeting, this is the only hotel I consider staying at in the Portland area. It is a true pleasure; clean, quiet and very convenient. The pricing is on the higher side of Residence Inn's range, but it is worth it.

Stayed at this very well-kept, clean hotel. Breakfast was very good--good selection of hot and cold foods. Room was exceptionally clean, loved the furniture. It was great to have a kitchen and fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is friendly and anxious to please.

Had a great stay at the Residence Inn for a girl's weekend Feb 15 & 16. Hotel is very clean and well kept and this shows in every area from the lobby to the rooms and the breakfast area. Front desk staff so nice as well as the breakfast staff always ready to help with whatever you need!

The hotel is about a half mile walk to where all of the shops, restaurants and bars are, but it was no problem for us! We arrived a little late on Friday night so we walked to the Sebago Brewing Company for dinner and that is just a 2 minute walk and is located at the Hampton Inn. The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff was so friendly!

I would definitely stay at the Residence Inn again!
