The Marshall Point Lighthouse and Museum is at the very far end of Port Clyde peninsula. The lighthouse itself is small and not accessible, the door is locked shut. The museum is interesting and makes it easy to follow the story of the lighthouse and its many stewards. There is a bounty of historical information about the Port Clyde area. But an hour or two is more than sufficient as it is a small museum. If not in the area, you may want to pass on this one, as the almost 20 mile drive from RT 1 is a long back road journey.
