I read about this place on TripAdvisor before we went to Maine. We were planning to drive south along the coast and I wanted to get into some of the smaller towns. I saw the rave reviews, so I decided we'd direct our journey along the coast by way of Port Clyde. It was well worth it. The lobster roll was generous in size and delicious. The crab roll was fantastic. Per the woman behind the counter, the locals order crab and the tourists order lobster. We were happy with both. My kids had a hot dog and chicken tenders. The onion rings were light and crispy. This may sound silly, but even the port-a-potty was nice (as much as they can be) - it may have just been emptied, but it smelled reasonable and my 2.5 year old actually went in it (a first). They did have an actual sink with soap and warm water outside for hand washing too.
