“A great Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Maine is a great getaway, especially Veteran's Day weekend.
As we were riding up the Maine coast, we wanted to spend a a couple of nights near the ocean.
The Seabreeze Motel in Old Orchard Beach became our perfect location.
We could walk to get something to eat like " fried dough", or a pizza, we could walk to buy a coffee or a full breakfast, we could walk to a Rite Aid, we could walk to a
Spors bar or another bar with food and entertainment and the most importantly we could walk to the Beach.
I'll bet in the summer, it would be tough to get a reservation to stay in this place.
It was really nice to have "mini kitchen with a frig, a couple of burners, Mike and Coffee Maker. The beds was really comfortable and with the temperature a bit cold outside, the temperature in the room was really toasty warm.
I would highly recommend the Seabreeze either in season or off season.
There is nothing like the Maine Coast no matter what season your in and to be able to stay in a place that's reasonably priced and walk to the beach is just incredable.
If your in Southeren Maine , given them a try. i'll bet you will not be sorry.

A last minute idea for a Sunday and we decided on this place due to it being close to everything. The price was right! Little out dated and it's clean. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean and warm! They did say that the pool will be open till Oct so I will be back before than! It was safe for a few girls to get away...

This was perfect for our last minute visit. Loved the location! Rooms were older, but neat & clean. The pool was sparkling. Staff was courteous and made sure we had everything we needed. Made for a great little beach get-a-way.

Room Tip: 2nd floor 2 bedroom with balcony was big & quiet.

This is a great place to stay for a night or two at the beach if you do not plan on spending much time in your room. The location is perfect, literally steps from the beach and the Pier and restaurants and bars. The room was what you expect for a motel, old carpet and outdated furniture. The sheets were surprisingly comfy for such a shabby looking place and I slept pretty well. The staff was nice enough, but when I let them know my bathroom sink was plugged, nothing was ever done about it. We had to brush our teeth in the kitchenette sink. There is a nice little kitchen and you could save money by buying food and making stuff in your room. There was a spacious closet and the room was cleaned pretty well. I would go back to hang out and party at the pier, but don't go there expecting some fabulous resort style beach hotel.

I was there for two nights and was given everything i needed right off the back. It has a newly done pool, hot tub. The people at the desk were nice. Location is perfect, not so close to the beach that people are being loud all night but only a 3 minute walk to the beach.

Room Tip: The front side is very nice, the suites have big balcony's.

This was our first stay, and I have to say that for a family w/3 children, it was extremely convenient. The location is top notch, only a 2-3 min walk, especially when headed to the beach for the day with coolers, chairs, umbrellas, strollers & toys! It was also nice for my husband to be able to take the baby back for a cat nap in the afternoon! Yes, the rooms were outdated, but they were clean. I always check the beds and bathroom immediately. There were renovations to rooms going on, during our stay, and I am anxious to see the end results next summer. The pool area was clean, as well, and multiple times I saw the manager checking the water and area. He was very pleasant and attentive to his guests and their needs. We were satisfied with the service and price we paid, and will definately stay again.

Went there recently for a weekend for my birthday with one adult and a teenager, booked on short notice, although the rooms are dated, you get access to the beach, the amusement park and they have a decent pool, the room did have a stale odor of smoke but open the windows and door and it wasnt that bad, the flat screen tv on the wall was a plus, also the bathroom was fine and the linens on the bed were clean, the kitchenette is good with coffee maker and small appliances, the noise from the train was not a distraction it was fun to see it, the teenager with us, liked the fact that the restaurant the Strike Zone across the street had WiFi, I hadn't been to OOB in years, and liked that it was close to everything, once they update the rooms it will be a better place to stay.
