“not worth it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

I will say that it was the Jimmy The Greek's over by the Maine Mall. The service was all right, nothing fabulous, but the food was horrendous. There were four of us there for lunch: Two people ordered hot sandwiches, neither of which were hot inside. They didn't even look appetizing. I had the fish and chips, which was all right, but it was old grease and the flavor on the fish was not good. Definitely won't go again, and I'm not at all in favor of visiting the one in Old Orchard Beach based on this experience.

“Whole wheat Pizza is very good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Jimmy the Greek's has great selection of beers on draught and bottles to go with your Pizza. We had a Wheat crust pizza with Chicken (somewhat sparse) bacon and caramelized onions that was very tasty in a white sauce, We had asked them to cook it light since it is a brick oven and they tend to burn the crust, but they did an excellent job and it was perfect. The side salad was very generous and good flavor and lots of cheese. The steak tips were cooked correctly but the sweet sauce was gooey and had no flavor, would not recommend them and the side pasta was so over cooked you would not want to eat limp pasta with a bland red sauce. Overall I would say stick to pizza and beer that was great. Service was very good and on the ball.

“We love it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Lots of beer to choose from. Check out the specials of the day, trivia night, $5 beer and margaritas. We find the best food there is either the Gyro's, pizza or calazone. We go here to eat every time we visit OOB. This is a must for everyone

“The Best place for a fun wedding reception!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We have been coming to Jimmy the Greek's for lunches, dinners and trivia nights. Then we learned they have 2 banquet halls - so when we got engaged there was no question where to hold our wedding reception at. Stephanie is the BEST reception organizer you can ask for. She transformed the banquet hall into a gorgeous reception room that reflected our wedding beach theme. The food was spectacular and the price was fantastic! We also got a local DJ Caleb who rocked the party, and we totally closed the place down with a ride on a mechanical bull. Yep, people have been saying it was a party of the century! We loved every minute of it!
Thanks, Jimmy the Greeks!

Number of guests at our wedding - 90 (plenty of room to dance and mingle for up to 150)
The bar is HUGE!
The staff is very nice!

“Great food, great selection, funky atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

So many great choices on the menu, I am going to have to go back again and again. We had fish tacos ($9), steak tips ($13), beer and brownie dessert. The fires are great and everything was delicious. The quality and quantity of food were perfect. They have all the traditional Greek offerings plus burgers and more. Great for families as well.
