“A great birthday stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at this beautiful Inn for one night on our trip around New England. Tim and Michelle were so friendly, warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble! Tim was very informative too and helped us get the most out of our short time in Ogunquit. The Inn is beautifully decorated, we stayed in room 6 which was so pretty and cozy. Michelle's breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. I was lucky enough to be celebrating my birthday whilst staying here and waking up in such a stunning place was a great way to start the celebrations. The Inn is close to all that beautiful Ogunquit has to offer. Our only disappointment was that we were not staying for longer, we hope to return for a longer stay in the not too distant future.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this thoughtful review. Tim and I enjoyed meeting you guys and getting to know you. We're thrilled that you chose to spend your birthday with us at the Puffin Inn. We do hope that our paths cross again. Happy New Year!

For some reason tourists believe Ogunquit, Maine closes on Labour Day. This could not be farther from the truth. The better shops and restaurants are open and not crowded; such a treat. There are still many activities available in which to participate, as well Walking on the beach in snow is our favourite. The place to stay of course, is the Puffin Inn. Located right on Main Street although a guest would never know this fact, the Inn is quiet and offers a restful atmosphere. The rooms are clean and quite spacious; each has a small reading area; just right for a tasty glass of wine and a good book. The breakfasts are amazing. We enjoyed ginger-bread pancakes with a delightfully light lemon sauce. Sausage accompanied same. There were, also, wonderful Morning glory muffins which we took along for a later morning snack. The hosts are very personable; they know when to "visit" and when to just say, 'hello". In addition, they are quire "diet-conscious" and so offer "gluten-free meals". If you are still free new year's eve,,,this is the spot. Actually any time is right for the Puffin Inn.

Room Tip: All rooms are charming but not "B and B chintz-y-fuss".

I had the great pleasure of spending a couple of nights at the Puffin Inn over Thanksgiving weekend - a wonderful girls weekend in Ogunquit. We had two great rooms at the Inn.
Michele and Tim were helpful and lovely hosts - and the breakfast was INCREDIBLE!! Michele is an amazing chef - her breakfast carried me through until dinner!
The location of the Inn is perfect - a short walk to town and the water. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, with private baths and more amenities than you would expect at a traditional B&B - tv and mini fridge! How handy!
I cannot wait to go back to stay again.

The Puffin Inn was way more than I'd expected when my friend and I booked rooms for a "Great Post Thanksgiving Escape" over the first weekend in December.

The Puffin Inn is elegant and feels roomy but so intimate at the same time. The innkeepers, Michele and Tim, gave us a tour and all the rooms were compelling for different reasons.

I hadn't spent much time in Ogunquit before, but now I know that going there is all about walking access to downtown's fabulous shops and restaurants, to the awesome beach, and to breath taking Marginal Way (Ogunquit's answer to Newport's Cliff Walk). The Puffin Inn is right in the middle of it all.

On our first day, my friend and I had a brisk morning walk and returned to a three course breakfast featuring fruit, yogurt, home made granola, and EGGS BENEDICT (Michele made mine Florentine upon request!) The next day we had three courses and COCONUT PANCAKES. YUMMMMM cannot wait to try these at home. Michele's meals are so popular she's writing a cook book, btw, so her guests can take home and recreate their yummy time with her!

I had the yellow guest room with a queen bed on the second floor and LOVED it. Free wifi was helpful. There was a sitting area where I got some work done. The wall mounted TV was visible from the bed and sitting area so that was convenient too. I was glad to have a mini-fridge. The wine glasses and opener were a classy touch. The bathroom was quite elegant with its classic black and white tiled floor. The room was impeccably clean.

I would highly recommend the Puffin Inn and Ogunquit for a great getaway! I can't wait to go back.

We wanted to just get away for the weekend and decided to visit Ogunquit. Since it's November, we weren't expecting much as far as scenery or lodging, but both exceeded our expectations! Maine is beautiful this time of year and the Puffin Inn was fantastic. As soon as I stepped in I felt comfortable. The innkeepers were attentive and courteous. Our room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Its downtown location is close to shops, restaurants and the beach. It was so warm on Saturday, we spent hours on the beach and walked Marginal Way. I'm already planning another trip before the end of the year and I will, without a doubt, stay at the Puffin Inn.

Our first visit to Puffin was fantastic. This charming Inn is well furnished and comfortable. Located a quick walk to Ogunquit Center, it became a nice launching point for our weekend visit. The owners are delightful, and the service was top notch. Breakfast on their porch was delicious. I say first visit because we will definitely be back.

We visited the Puffin Inn for 4 nights the end of October and were in town for Ogunquitfest weekend. It's a really beautiful inn, very tastefully decorated, makes you feel right at home. It has a big front porch that must be great during the summer. The inn is conveniently located, walking distance to town and close enough to take daytrips to many surrounding towns. We stayed in room 2, a cute little room on the first floor of the inn near the front door but facing the backyard. The room was charming, beautifully decorated, clean, and very cozy and the bathroom was very cute and comfortable. A delicious 3 course breakfast was included with our stay, served on a cute little enclosed breakfast porch. Michelle is a great cook and Tim is a great helper. On Sat. morning, by special request, Michelle made her lemon stuffed French toast for us which was absolutely delicious! Thank you Michelle!
As innkeepers, Michele and Tim go out of their way to accommodate your every need. They are great hosts! Although relatively new to innkeeping, you would never know it. One night Tim told us that he was concerned about the temperature in the room as he was not yet familiar with the thermostat in the inn. He told us if at any time during the night we were either too warm or too cold to call him on his cell. Really????
We had a great time in Ogunquit, Michelle's suggestions for restaurants and day trips to surrounding towns were most helpful. We loved the area and plan to return to the Puffin again this summer. Can't wait to chat with Michelle again.

Room Tip: The rooms are all lovely but room number 1 has the tiniest bathroom, avoid if you dislike tight spac...
