We have stayed at the OBI twice per season for the past four years and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else in town. This is a small, comfortable inn with a typical Maine feel to it. The decor is rustic with a home like feel to it. Lots of old furniture passed down from the families of the owners, along with old family photos and historical photos of the inn, itself.
The rooms are always immaculately clean and the inn is situated on a quiet side street that is a very short walk to great restaurants, gay clubs and the beach.
The owners of OBI, Greg and Mike, are very good about making guests feel at home, know what is going on in the town and able to offer informative suggestions as far as where to go and what to do.
The cleintele tends to be a lot of friendly repeat guests from various parts of the country. Breakfast on the enclosed porch affords guests the opportunity to chat and get to know one another.
If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax and feel at home, this is a great place to stay.
