Open year round, no frills, basically a lobster market for those of us who can't buy direct from a local Maine lobster fisherman. Perfect for when you just want to eat steamed lobsters, plain and simple. Tina, half of the husband-and-wife team who owns the place, was extremely helpful in figuring out how I could take two lobsters home to New Orleans. I didn't have room for a cooler to store the lobsters alive, but I did happen to have an empty vacuum-sealed tupperware container with me, so Tina steamed the lobsters and put them in paper & plastic bags, and when they cooled down enough, I broke apart the lobsters and packed the claws & tails inside the tupperware. She also sold me a block of ice pack which kept the tupperware nice and cool for the plane ride.
Bottom line -- This is an excellent place to get fresh lobsters!
