“Hospitality, Comfort and Convenience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

Consistent with the compliments and praises on Trip Advisor, Linda and Dick Wickert were the ideal hosts during our recent visit to 16 Beach Street. Engaging, helpful and maintaining just the right amount of presence they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived.

16 Beach Street is very comfortable and exceptionally clean.

The breakfasts were beautifully presented, very tasty and well balanced. 16 Beach Street is a few steps to shops and restaurants and a very short walk to Ogunquit Beach. You can park your car and forget it.

We look forward to returning next year.

My wife and I love our stay at 16 Beach Street. We have stayed multiple time since 2009. We love the atmosphere, food, and comfort of the B&B. Linda and Dick welcome you with open arms and are very knowledgeable about the surrounding restaurants and services. Staying at 16 Beach Street is like going home without all the drama.

Once again my husband and I returned to 16 Beach Street B&B for our annual trip to Ogunquit. We stayed for five days (Monday to Friday) and as always we were impressed with the accommodations. This year we chose to stay in the Mary Harrington Room - what a beautifully decorated room and immaculately clean. Linda has added a few new recipes to her already delicious collection of breakfast ideas and, Dick has made a few changes in the yard which enhance the elegance of the B&B. We enjoyed our beach walking this year; a highlight was watching the harvest moon rise over the water - enchanting! Ogunquit is a wonderful place to visit and 16 Beach Street B&B is a lovely place to stay for your visit. Thank you Linda & Dick for your warm and inviting hospitality!

I found 16 Beach St online and it was just what my wife and I wanted. The Hattie Nagle room looked beautiful and the b & b was centrally located. My wife and I love to walk and we could park our car and not use it again until we were leaving after our stay. We booked two nights but due to a family illness we had to cancel twice before we finally got to stay at 16 Beach St. Linda and Dick were very understanding of our circumstances. We arrived on 10/10/12 and were warmly greeted by Linda and appreciated the warm cider that greeted us on a cold damp fall day. We followed Linda's recommendations for dinner both nights and we enjoyed excellent food and service. Linda was a gracious hostess and we enjoyed spending some time taking with her about the B & B and the Ogunquit area. The breakfasts were terrific and we loved our room. Dick was away during our stay but we look forward to meeting him on our next visit. We will definitely return.

We stayed at 16 Beach Street over Labor Day weekend 2012 for 3 nights and would absolutely return! Dick & Linda are extremely welcoming and generous--not to mention Linda's amazing breakfasts! I quickly scouted out a favorite spot for reading, sipping wine, and people watching in the chaise on the wraparound porch, and my husband and I enjoyed strolling through the town from the centrally located B&B. It's right in the middle of everything, but still feels like a getaway. It's a close walk to the beach, the Marginal Way, and to lots of great restaurants. Dick was a pleasure to chat with each morning and offered some great tips for our time in Ogunquit. I would highly recommend 16 Beach Street for any travelers looking for a personal touch to their vacation, and when we return to Ogunquit, as I have no doubt we will, we'll stay at 16 Beach Street! Thank you Dick & Linda for a wonderful stay.

We picked 16 Beach St because of its high rating on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. It is perfectly located right in the middle of Ogunquit village, walkable to lots of good places to eat, a five minute walk to the spectacular beach (it's hard to find a place closer -- and Dick and Linda provide towels, umbrellas and beach chairs), and an easy walk to Perkins Cove down the Marginal Way. We parked our car behind the B&B when we arrived and didn't move it until we left three days later. The B&B itself is charming, with a wraparound front porch for breakfast, snacks (both excellent -- Linda is a great cook) and people watching, and very clean, well-decorated and comfortable rooms -- ours had a sofa and arm chair in addition to a really comfortable king-size bed -- although the bathroom in our room was a bit cramped. Dick and Linda are very welcoming hosts, and if our travel plans bring us to the southern Maine coast again (which I hope is the case), we will definitely stay with them again.

We have become regulars with Dick and Linda at Beach Street, and cannot say enough positive things about them and the business they run. The rooms are spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. Linda prepares a gourmet breakfast for all guests and provides snacks and drinks in the afternoon. A trip to The beach is a 10 minute walk, with the complimentary chairs and umbrella. People watching from the rockers on the expansive porch is a favorite activity. All in all, it doesn't get better than 16 Beach Street!
