“Fourth time around & better than ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2011

Innkeeper Scott's "Welcome home" as we walked in almost summed up The Gazebo. I say almost because few homes have its amenities let alone the quality of service. We had barn 5, which is their penthouse, but all suites have jacuzzi ansd shower, 2 sided fireplace, kitchen area and incredibly comfortable beds. Other places offer less for the same price.
Monday Dec. 27 we stayed in because of the snowstorm. At the Gazebo, the problem isn't, I wish it would stop storming, it's do we want to leave the room/premises unless we have to?
My sister, a very seasoned traveler, dropped in and she was blown away by the amenities and the quality of the matress, bedding, etc.
We booked for next year before we left--no need to even think about looking for any other place to stay.

This is not our first stay here, we stay here every year and it's about our 4th visit and we will return again this coming July.

I have stayed at other B&B's all over New England and by far no one comes close to this place. Simply 5 star all the way a real Diamond!

Scott, Bruce, Peter, Alex and everyone who works there will go above and beyond your expectations!

The breakfast's are to die for and you can have as many helpings as you like. You have to try the raspberry scones :-P... The pool area and gardens are stunning! Every year there is something new to look forward to...they are presently putting in a huge pool size outdoor spa with waterfall. Oh I can't wait to see this come July! Everything about this B&B is high quality nothing but the best for their guests and excellent prices compared to other B&B's. You get a lot for your money here.

The rooms and suites are all newly renovated. We always stay in barn 5 suite and have the whole upstairs barn to ourselves. The beds are more comfortable than mine at home and the bedsheets are so soft I had to buy a pair from them (They sell them there for a decent price). The bathroom is gorgeous as well...the whole Gazeboo Inn is gorgeous! You get your own Keruig coffee machine with assortments of coffee in the rooms.

We are so spoiled everytime we come here that it's hard to stay anywhere else.

It is close to the beach and the town and central to all other small towns and shopping.Excellent location quiet enough but close enough for a short trolley ride to the city. They even give you beach chairs and umbrella and cooler for a day at the beach.

We will definately be staying here for years to come. We are sending our daughter there this spring with her boyfriend and I'm sure once she stays there she also will return year after year!

My husband and I have been going to Ogunquit Maine between Christmas and New Years for 4 years now and staying at the Gazebo Inn. It is one of our most favorite trips we take each year and that is mostly because we stay at the Gazebo Inn. The breakfasts are delicious and the scones and to die for!! We actually bought some this year and brought them home with us. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms, especially the barn suites, are just gorgeous. We never want to leave. We are looking forward to next year and are taking friends along with us. They won't want to leave either!

My mom and I had a perfect 4 nights here- even postponed our Boston night to stay another night. The inn itself is beautiful and very comfortable. The small touches are perfect and the suites are spacious and homey. The bathrooms are amazing with both a steam shower and double tub, all done impeccibly. Breakfasts were delicious without that bread and breakfast feeling that you are staying with relatives and must be on time on your best behavior. Large inn with everything thought of and done top- notch, wonderful inn keepers with great knowledge of the area, and perfect location. Thank you for a wonderful mother-daughter get away!

This is my second favorite place I have ever stayed- my number one being on Lake Geneva in Montreux, Switzerland.
The innkeepers were incredibly accommodating, pleasant, helpful, and friendly. We were treated like royalty. The room (suite) was spacious and exceptionally well appointed. We are talking steam shower with rain shower head and four body jets, huge jacuzzi with a TV, working gas fireplace, couch, small kitchen, extraordinarily comfortable bed, rocking overstuffed easy chair... We could have stayed forever! Bruce made us a delicious breakfast with different fare each morning, and I'm telling you, it was so much food and so much variety there was something for even the most picky eater. Yogurt, fruit, whole grain toast, homemade French toast, sausage, shaved beef, scrambled eggs, scones... coffee, tea... Oh, it was heaven! Plus the breakfast area had a working fireplace and a French country inn feel, as well as a couch/sitting area where the food and coffee were. We didn't have to eat lunch, we filled up so much on breakfast each day! The Inn was well-located with beaches and downtown close by. The Inn itself has so much to offer- above and beyond the gorgeous rooms, there is a well-appointed exercise room with hot tub and sauna, a spa where one can book massages and other services, a library and dvd collection from which one can borrow and take back to the room, a HUGE TV in the library/computer area with a very comfortable sectional couch... and had it been summer, to add to all of that, a lovely swimming pool!
Bruce, Scott, and Peter made it a lovely and welcoming visit and I would not hesitate to go back in a heartbeat!!

Once you arrive at the front doot to this magnificent Bed and Breakfast in Ogunquit, Me., you are met by one of the people that runs the Inn. They take you and your guests on an exclusive tour of the entire resort so that you know where to find everything that you'll need, should you need anything. They will then take your bags to your room and help you get settled in answering anything you need to know. Our room was at the top of the stairs in the Barn. Yes, the Barn. This is an old refubished 1800s Barn with most of the original wood still there. Our room had a shower /steam room plus a two person jacuzzi with real jets, not Mickey Mouse jets. The steam worked to perfection and after about 30 seconds, you weren't able to see your hand in front of your face. The room also had a 42 inch flat screen HD T.V. that was on a swivel so that you could see it from anywhere in the room. The breakfast each morning was incredible. Always made fresh for you, like French Toast, Waffles with fire roasted apples and strawberries, etc. Need I go on? They also have on site transportation (stretch limo) for you too, should you need to get to dinner or a function somewhere. Clean beyond clean and the Customer Service was better than most. There is a sign hanging in their lobby that states: "Enter as a stranger, leave as a friend" That statement could not be more true. Scott, Bruce and Peter are always there to help you and you will become their friends after a few days at the Gazebo Inn.
