“What a gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013

My 16-year-old daughter and I decided on a last minute short vacation so I booked a 2 night stay the night before we left based on reviews I read here and I was not disappointed! The property is immaculately cared for and landscaped beautifully. The staff went above and beyond what I have experienced at other hotels. They had excellent suggestions for dining and activities for us to do during our stay. One staff member even offered to lend us their copy of a visitor's guide. They are located steps away from the ocean and about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room itself was white glove clean and the little touches, such as putting the blanket on the bed between two sheets and leaving makeup remover towelettes as part of the traditional soap/shampoo, made us realize it was far beyond what a chain hotel would offer. We felt like we were home. We didn't take advantage of the kitchenette (complete with dishes, silverware, glasses, toaster, coffee maker and microwave) due to the short stay, but the fridge was a welcome amenity to fill with drinks. We were sad to leave, but will absolutely stay here again in the future.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

We travelled in April, and the rates were good for a 3 night stay. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach, and Ogunquit Beach is a very long, wonderfully smooth, sandy beach that has gentle waves, and space to enjoy long walks. Staff was very accomodating to our needs and questions. Room was very clean and equipped with microwave, hotplate stove, coffemaker, pans and dishes, and refrigerator. Shops and coastal hilking were nearby and within an easy walking distance. Loved the off-season lack of traffic and yet many stores and restaurants were open. Outdoor pool was closed, (it was April, after all) but the outdoor hot tub was available, and an indoor pool at their other locationwas offered.

OGT is made up of family-owned resorts. If you want a chain hotel, go to Wells. I've stayed at the Pink B at least 3 years in a row and plan to stay again this Sept. It's a quiet and very well-kept property. The rooms are immaculate, staff is friendly, and always offer a suggestion for a new place to eat. It's nice to have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave as well. Close to beach walkway, town square, and Marginal Way.

friendly staff. I liked this much better than their sister hotel down the street. The one down side was the indoor pool being at that sister location. The kids were wanting to be there in the evening and it was a bit of a production as parking was not guaranteed.
Nice walk to Perkins cove where there are beautiful view, ahd great shops and restaurants.
Beautiful, clean rooms, comfy beds. we stayed in a roon wuth a kitchenette which was very convenient.

Pink Blossoms was really just great all around. Motel looked as good or better in person than on their web-site. We had a room on the front of the motel facing Shore Road. Didn't notice any noise from traffic but it was their shutting down time in Ogunquit. Loved the split design of the room. Small dining, living and kitchen area separate from the bedroom. Beds were very comfortable to me. I love a firm mattress and this was perfect. Grounds were immaculate. Overheard the maintenance man speaking to the lady at the front desk and their conversation lead me to believe that they really cared about keeping things nice and convenient for the guests. Even though they were getting ready to shut down for the season they didn't want to close anything til all the guest were gone. Nice tvs in both living room and bedroom. We got to the Pink Blossoms early and asked if we could check in. Room wasn't ready but the front desk lady called to the maid and asked her to clean our room next. Took a walk on the Marginal Way and when we got back room was ready. Coffee was ready in the office every morning right on time. Was given great advice on restaurants and places to see. Motel is back off the main drag but a very comfortable morning walk to great breakfast restaurants. Pink Blossoms suggested several places and we chose Amore' Breakfast one day and The Wild Blueberry the next. Both exceptional restaurants for breakfast. Oh, and the Big Bonus, we were there, sitting the room on Tuesday night at 7:12 when the earthquake of 2012 hit Maine!! What a fun experience. Everyone came running out of their rooms and congregated outside to talk about the shake up! Will never forget Pink Blossoms after that experience! Oh, and Ogunquit is a lovely town to make your base for visiting up and down the Maine coast. Easy drive north and south.

Dear TRAVELWITHTINK, Thank you so much for the very comprehensive review of your recent stay with us. We are so pleased you enjoyed our PinkB hospitality, amenities and location. We generally brag about the great Fireworks Display Ogunquit offers on the 4th of July but I must say, the earthquake seems to be making the lasting memory this year.

We hope you will find your way back to Ogunquit and Pink Blossoms again! You were a delight to chat with!

We chose Pink Blossoms because of the separate bedroom and kitchenette they offered. The location was within walking distance of the Marginal Way, shops and some restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the front desk staff friendly. Reading reviews, cleanliness is my main concern. We did use their outdoor grill, also very clean. It was late September, so the street noise and traffic was not bad as it might be during the summer months.

We would definitely recommend Pink Blossoms!

We have stayed at the Pink Blossom 3 times and each experience has been wonderful. the staff are outstanding and go over and beyond what you would expect. We flew in from out of state and didn't want to buy chairs. We asked at the desk at checkin and lo and behold, 2 beach chairs were found for us.The rooms are spotless and the grounds are well kept. There is a play area for children, a heated gated outdoor pool, grills, and tennis courts.Everything is within walking distance.i don't know how they do it, but they keep getting better.
