“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We loved this restaurant! The lobster mac & cheese was amazing and so was the kobe burger. I would highly recommend this place!

“Interesting twists on American Classics”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2012

MC Perkins took over the old Hurricane's space in Ogunquit's Perkins Cove a number of years ago. The views of the ocean are great and can't be beat, but parking is always a nightmare in season. the food is tasty and always is based on a slight twist of American classics. The service can be spotty and the tab wont be cheap. But, the food is consistently good and it is one of the best options in the Cove.

“Great food, great service, great view - fantastic evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2012

One of the nicest dinners my wife and I have shared in a long time. First, we ate on the top floor of the restaurant while it was still light enough out so we could see the ocean and the cliffs - great start. Second, the waiter we had made fantastic recommendations, except for the desert, but everything else was so good (and we really didn't need the desert). I loved the crab cake - totally unlike anything I have ever had - very nice and light - felt like almost no breading. I ate the deep fried rainbow trout only because of the waiter's recommendation. Well, the first was cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for. My wife ate the filet and it almost didn't need a knive. The evil carbs were good, nothing really special and I tried one of the vegetables and while I liked it, again, nothing special. However, the waiter helped choose a fantastic wine and was shocked at the quality (I love only big bold oaky chardonnays) at a very reasonable price. So, while there were a few misses, overall, an extremely good meal - would go back in a second and we want to try their restaurant in Burlington Mass as it is a whole lot closer to drive for dinner!!

“Keep Going Back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

Food here is great and a nice change from lower end places in Perkins Cove. Preference is to sit at the upstairs bar and dine. Very friendly and attentive bartender. The trout dish and lobster roll are amazing.

“A wonderful vantage point”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2012

The food and service were very good - no question. It's the best spot in the Perkins Cove group of restaurants. The price was a bit on the healthy side though.
