“A short break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2011

We stayed here during a road trip of New England. It was an ideal stopover between Boston and Arcadia National Park. Located in a lovely town with great restaurants and bars and a beautiful beach.

We were made to feel very welcome and the owner was very helpful in giving tips on where to go. We loved the communal sitting area where we could relax with a book and glass of wine. Our room had a private entrance and sitting area. The room was very clean and well maintained and the hot tub was a real treat. A hidden gem which is a must stop in a very lovely place.

From the moment you pull up to The Ogunquit Inn you are drawn into the charm and serenity. Stepping in, you are taken back to a time of simple elegance. The owners have successfully combined Victorian living with all the modern conveniences. There is great attention to detail and each room boasts different a different charm, style & plush comfort.

This is a place to return to time and time again.

We stayed at the Ogunquit in and unfortunatly had to cut our stay short. The hotel managment was very helpful and understanding. The one night we stayed there was very pleasant... rooms were very warm and charming, staff very helpful and location on a quiet side street 2 minute walk from the center of tow.

We can't wait until the next time we have a chance to stay there!!!

We spent 2 nights in the Ogunquit Inn and had a room with a balcony out on the back porch, which was lovely to sit out on with wine/beer and a pizza one night. It is a lovely old house, with good off street parking, it is close to the main road but even with a room at the front we slept really well. The rooms were clean, there was a guest pantry and a continental (help yoursefl) breakfast. We had everything we needed including a small fridge in the room, which was great during the hot weather. Ogunquit itself was a very lively beach town with plenty of places to eat/drink/shop/watch theatre/cinema and of course a beautiful beahc (only 15 minutes walk from the inn). Alos don't miss the Ogunquit Museum of Art which is in a beautiful location.

This is a stately three-story Victorian inn with a large cozy parlor on the ground floor. My partner and I stayed in room 2 on the second floor. I can't say enough that the pictures on the Inn's web site don't do justice to its rooms. Our room was much larger than we expected, with a comfortable bed and tasteful decor. The inn is in a great location. It's a short walk from the beach and the shops and restaurants on Shore Rd and Beach St. If you're going to stay at one of the many accomodations on those streets during the summer, be prepared to sit in heavy traffic anytime you come and go. No such problem at the Ogunquit Inn! As others have noted, the inn serves a simple continental breakfast. But if you need something more substantial, Bintliff's restaurant is just acoss the street and has a great breakfast menu.

Very nice and calm B&B. This B&B is not directly on the main road like most of the other B&B in Ogunquit which I was really fond of. The rooms each have a private balcony and entrance from outside and are tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the B&B is very clean and always smells good. The host is very nice and helpful. Expect that there is a lot of noise in the town during the weekend (people partying) and you can hear it from the B&B.

The Ogunquit Inn is located just off Main Street, a short walk to the heart of the village which abounds with shops, restaurants, and galleries. It's also close by to the beaches and scenic coastline. Room options include two rooms which share a bath on the floor. Our room was tastefully furnished, clean, the bed was comfortable, and a small fridge in the room contained two bottles of complimentary water. The bathroom was equipped with a shower. The proprietor responded promptly to our request for ice. Guests have the use of a computer in the cozy parlor room on the first level. Breakfast choices were fully adequate. It would be nice if coffee service was available for early risers, but by 8:15 most selections including coffee were ready and waiting for the guests.
