“Perfect Lunch Setting and Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2010

Part of our drive through the Maine coastline included a stop in Ogunquit. We choose to have lunch at the Cove Cafe. Scored an upfront parking space and a table with a long shot view of the bay. A fruit bowl order was overflowing with fresh blueberries, strawberries, bananas and more. Lunch for me was a spinach, bacon & mushroom omelette <yum>. Darling husband had the local version of a bagelwich -- eggs, bacon & cheese on a toasted bagel. Service was excellent, all were charming and made these GA tourists feel welcomed.

“Best food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2010

On first glance, the Cove seems nothing special, but the food there was simply amazing. The clam chowder was to-die-for and their lobster roll was outstanding. My favorite meal of my entire Ogunquit vacation, however, was their crab cake eggs benedict. Cheap prices, good service, none of the hoity-toity extra stuff, and the best food in town. Make it a stop on your perkins cove wanderings!

“My Favorite Breakfast Spot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2010

I've never been to Ogunquit without stopping by here at least once and I'm never disappointed. This is by far my favorite breakfast spot. The blueberry pancakes & blueberry French toast are out of this world!!!

“Other reviews are spot on”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2010

Ate breakfast here this morning. It was fantastic! I had scrambled eggs with toast and home fries, and my boyfriend had the special "Cinnamon Bun French Toast" topped with strawberries as well as a side of bacon. Everything tasted fresh and it was all scrumptious. The service was terrific. I wish we had found this breakfast spot sooner (so there would be fewer Egg & I visits and more Cove Café visits!).

“Fresh ingredients”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2010

We recently had a delightful breakfast at the Cove. We both had one of the specials which consisted of fresh fruit, two eggs, and muffin. Everything was superb. The decaf coffee was also great. Our server, Kortnee, was also a delight and very efficient. There are only eight tables at the Cove and some spots at the counter and parking is very limited. it is best to walk from your hotel. We are looking forward to going back.
