My daughter and I had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The food and service was excellent ! The eggs Benedict with lobster was amazing! The decorating is enchanting!! Can't wait to have dinner there in July!!

“Overpriced, below average food, gaudy decor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

$3.25 extra for fresh fruit on a waffle & the $9.99 waffle arrived with 2 strawberries....

Fresh fruit included cantaloupe, honey dew melon, pineapple & a single strawberry......for $4.95....

The gaudy decor, (satin swags, lots of gilded mirrors, statues, etc) only added insult to injury..

“Nice Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

We arrived in Ogunquit on a Friday evening and decided to just get in the car and drive until we found a restaurant thaqt was open. We happened upon Bintliffs (which was closed when we were last in this area) and stopped in (hoping to get a table as the parking lot was pretty crowded). We were not disappointed! The bar was packed and the restaurant was crowded but we were shown to a lovely table and greeted by our waitperson almost immediately. The drinks were perfect and the food was very good. The decor is very unique. Almost every table is "framed" by an antique window, giving the feeling of privacy even in a crowded room. Nice place.

“Great for brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Since the weather was bad in Maine on Valentine's Day, we stayed in and decided to do Sunday Brunch which we both enjoy very much to substitute. We choose to go to intliff's as it was snowing hard Sunday morning and they are close. It was a very good choice! They were semi-busy, mostly locals who didn't want to go far. The choices were quite broad as they have an extensive brunch menu (Saturday and Sunday only). I had Bintliff's scramble, which is a very rich scrambled egg dish (cream in the eggs, very hearty), and my wife choose a Benedict with lots of veggies and Canadian Bacon. Both were delicious and mine came with hash browns, done golden and perfect. The service was a bit slow at first as several groups came in together, but it got sorted out and we had placed out order in ten minutes of so. Coffee appeared quickly, so that improved my mood. The check was very reasonable, most likely because we skipped the Bloody Mary's since snow plowing awaited at home. We recommend Bintliff's for brunch or lunch, but have not had dinner there..

“Brunch is a must”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Locals love this place-that's gotta be good. Bloody Marys are a meal. Ask, some of the entrees can be served as half portions! Always interesting people to see and talk to.. Creme Brullee French Toast!
