“The most perfect spot in the state”

Perkins Cove is undoubtedly one of the most perfect, most photographed spots in Maine. It is absolutely beautiful, quaint and picturesque. Don't miss it or your camera will hate you!

“Tourist trap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

This was one of the least things that I liked about our trip to Ogunquit. You can't park unless you drive around for a while and pay, and the restaurants are over-priced, over-rated and the food is average. The shops close early in the fall and are definitively just average compared to other places in New England. Still, you gotta go there at least once, if you are in Ogunquit.

“quaint and very nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

this is a great place to go for lunch or just coffee after you have walked the marginal way. It was nice to watch the small lobster boast unload their catch

“September visit to Perkins Cove.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Walking bridge provided great opportunity for husband to stand around being useful to boaters (bridge up, bridge down, big buttons...loads of geeky fun!!!) while I spent his hard earned money in delightful galleries, restaurants, and jewellry shoppes.
Adorable little village. Walk here on the Marginal Way from Ogunquit then take Trolley back into Ogunquit. But stop along the way at Amore's for an amazing breakfast or lunch, and coffee.

“Love this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We make it a point to visit Perkins Cove every time we are in Ogunquit. Many little shops, pleanty of dining spots, views of the Cove, love to do boat watching and have taken several tours out of Perkins Cove. We usually walk the Marginal Way into the cove. The trolley makes many visits to area if you are not up for walking.
