The warm and inviting rooms at your Inn, the marvelous woodworking throughout the house, the special vintage touches and nautical appointments in all your rooms are only heightened by the exquisite views of the boats on the bay. We had the fortunate time to spend a week with you and just fell in love with the Inn, with Maine and with each other again! We treated ourselves to an early 10 year anniversary celebration! Thank you so much for one of the “best ever” get-aways and what will surely become some of our fondest memories. Your Inn, the country breakfasts and the hospitality is second to none. Thank you, Grant and Stephanie! –HoHoKus, NJ

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights - our first night in the First Mates Quarters and our last two nights in the Navigators Quarters. The first room was nice, but the Navigators Quarters was absolutely beautiful! A nice fireplace, lots of room, beautiful woodwork.

The breakfasts were some of the best we've ever had! They were amazing!

The rooms and the entire inn were extremely clean!

The hosts were very helpful at suggesting things to do and places to see.

As others have said, there was a noice factor - we felt like everyone could hear every sound from our room, and we were able to hear others (especially in the First Mates Quarters), but this was the only drawback.

Lincolnville/Camden is a beautiful area. We would highly recommend the Spouter to anyone visiting!

  • Liked — The Breakfasts! The Views!
  • Disliked — The noise and the threatening hurricane that left things a little foggy and wet!

We came in City-weary and stressed. We were treated like honored guests and the proprietors cared about the little things that made our stay memorable. His recomendations were honest and forthright and spot-on. The food was everything advertised and more. The rooms and service impeccable. I would agree with the reviewer who complained about the availability of sound intrusions from guests on other floors and I too found the photo misleading (proximity of Route 1 is obscurred in the photo so one thinks they could walk out the front door and step onto the beach). However, we loved our visit and have already booked a return.

  • Liked — Fine details
  • Disliked — inability to ignore presence of others -- sound really carried

The Spouter Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and beautiful. The view of the ocean was spectacular and the breakfast was out of this world. The innkeepers were very friendly and informative on local sights and things to do. We love to stay at Bed and Breakfasts and this one was a cut above the rest.

I just spend five days at The Spouter Inn and had a delightful time. The accommodations were great and very convenient to some fine local restaurants. The breakfasts were the finest I have ever had at a B&B. And the hosts couldn't have been more pleasant.

The House is absolutely beautiful with georgious woodwork. I have never seen a cleaner place. The hosts are interesting and really nice. The food is delicious. The views are beautiful and the rooms are cozy. THe beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. THis was the best value we could have asked for. THe owners take such pride in their Inn and it shows. This is a great place to stay. K + A

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Spouter Inn. The Inn Keepers and their son welcomed us and were great hosts. The food at breakfast was out-of -sight!!! We were able to choose our breakfast the night before and it was a varied menu. Paul, Catherine and Grant became good friends and we look forward to visiting with them in the future. They were extremely helpful with directions and suggestions for our visit to Maine!!!
