We stayed in a beautiful seaside cottage with a lovely deck overlooking the bay. The facilities were all first-class and well maintained and extremely comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful and ideal for couples as well as families. Only four miles north of Camden Harbor it is convenient to town on one of the most beautiful coastlines of the Atlantic seaboard. We could not recommend this facility more highly! We had a wonderful stay and plan on returning before the summer is out! The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming and very professional.

At the very last minute, my husband and I decided to take a weekend trip up to the Camden, ME area. We were lucky to get a reservation anywhere, and even more thankful when we arrived at Glenmoor and were greeted with a charming facility.

We are frequent vacationers in the Camden, ME area, and, by a long-shot, Glenmoor gives you the most bang for your buck. The facility is under new management (from another well-known and extremely pricey inn a few doors down), and Mary Ann has clearly brought her high standards along with her.

I inspected each and every inch of our cabin, and it was immaculate. We had a king bed cabin, complete with a pull-out and a gas fireplace. The bathroom was large enough to be another bedroom. Each of these cabins has a fantastic, large deck and looks right out to the ocean. There are steps leading down to the ocean should that strike your fancy. If not, there is a charming (and clean!) pool. The cabin was private, peaceful, well air-conditioned, and spotless.

We've been travelling to Maine for about 30yrs. Our recent getaway brought us to the Glenmoor. It was a glorious stay. We were in a deluxe cottage with a fabulous view of the ocean. Each cottage was well appointed, clean, and cozy. The front porch proved to be a beautiful spot for our morning coffee and an afternoon drink. Well situated to Camden and Rockport. We enjoyed a scooner trip on the Heron featured in Johnny Depp's latest movie. Knowing at the end of the day we would return to the Glenmoor made the trip so enjoyable. Waking up to the waterviews, the sounds of the ocean on the rocky coast, and watching lobstermen checking their traps was like a "dream." Leaving Maine is never easy but after our stay at the Glenmoor, we can't wait to get back there. Maryanne in the office was so sweet and helpful and knowledgable about where to go and what to see in Maine. Your stay in Maine will be enhanced by the charm of the Glenmoor. Enjoy.

My finance and I have just returned from our 3rd stay at the Glenmoor by the sea and this trip has confirmed our belief that it truly is the best deal in the Camden area. Having stayed at other B&Bs or Inns in the area we have paid more...always more than we have at the Glenmoor. I am not saying it is the nicest hotel in the area or that it has the most amenities... what I am saying is that the staff are super friendly (especially Mary-Ann), the rooms are spacious and clean (try the 2 bedroom Suite 16 with water views and a huge deck out front), and the property is HUGE with big spaces to run around a nice rocky beach to hang out on and 2 (yes 2) swimming pools. If you are looking for a great deal in the Camden area, especially families, then I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
