“Good Solid New England Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Kind of local atmosphere, but the food is good and solid. Don't ask for ice in anything, because you will get pushback there.

“Fantastic Find! You have to stop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

What a great place for a huge breakfast at very reasonable prices and a taste of Maine ambiance. As we have discovered, Maine's people are extraordinary...and no more so evident than at this little gem. We had breakfast here with our 4 small kids and it was delightful. Delicious food (the sausage & cheese omelette was the best my hubby has ever had) and fair prices for the big servings. The owners were so helpful and friendly, and they have lots of information available for tourists. We are here for a month and we'all definitely eat there a few more times.

“Geat Breakfast Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Try the Blueberry Pancakes... the recipe was bought with the restaurant!
Special #1 is a great value... and the meatloaf is great as well. Always a hearty meal and casual atmosphere.

“Won't leave hungry”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

If you're laid back and want to experience the true flavor of the Kingfield region, this is the place to stop for breakfast. We're talking good solid lumberjack food - you won't be able to finish a side of three pancakes. I always upgrade my toast to the homemade oatmeal bread and slather the strawberry or blueberry preserves on it. If you get insulted by the owner, Diane - consider it a compliment - that's just part of the schtick. She's really just a teddy bear that likes to growl . . . but better not ask for eggbeaters or starbucks coffee unless you want to get tossed out. Been stopping there for years when we head downeast to ski Sugarloaf. Past weekend our group was treated to a pan of cinnamon honey buns fresh out of the oven - nice surprise - gratis from Diane. Woodsman might not rate high by the gourmet's in your group but for local flavor/culture - its the real deal. Guaranteed you won't leave hungry.

“I really dont know what to say!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

Just dont go! You have to order at the counter, which isnt so bad, you wait ...and I tried the place 4 seperate times...once my stuff came out after waiting like almost 20 min, no one there, again, 25cents for a second coffee...really! The best was when they asked us to bring the dishes to the counter! You got your tip....you do it......NEVER AGAIN EVEN IF I AM STARVING!!!!oh, how was the breakfast your thinking... lol try it!!!
