We first found this place while walking down Ocean Ave on an early Friday evening and noticed most of the car traffic was turning in as well as a number of people walking. We followed the crowd and couldn't have been happier. We came upon a good size deck with adirondack chairs. If you are just going for drinks, there is an outside bar (and a smaller one inside). Lots of relaxing chairs to just chill and view the river/boats. There was a varied crowd of people but most seemed like locals, and that's a good thing. We actually went back the next day and had a couple of bloody mary's while waiting to board the schooner next door. Again, just like the night before, nice. We decided to have our special 25th wedding anniversary dinner here that night. We reserved one of only two semi circle seats with a great view from inside the restaurant. We were seated right at our reserved time and our waitress Emily was very attentive. We ordered the crab rangoon dip which was very tasty, loved it. I have to say food does come quickly but we never felt rushed. Hubby had the shoreman's pie and I had the baked stuffed lobster. Both were awesome. Pie had chunks of seafood and my lobster was so big I shared it with my husband. The lobster was 1 1/2 lbs and came with homemade mashed potatoes, and delicious green beans. I couldn't finish it all. Dinner also included moist corn bread and rolls. We were too full to enjoy any dessert. I would highly recommend this place for an outdoor lunch, dinner or just to enjoy a few cold ones!
