“Comfortable, affordable, necessities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

This place is newly renovated, comfortable and affordable. The rooms are large and they offer dog friendly rooms. The decor is new and inviting, the bed is comfy and there is a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom area is also spacious. The temp control is good. I highly recommend this place and I have stayed here twice in the winter months and will be back.

The room was quite comfortable. It stayed warm over night, which is not always the case with rooms in this type of facility in winter (although temperature did not drop that low, only in the 20.) Everything was clean. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The omelet with breakfast was surprisingly tasty, despite the fact that the inn was not very full so I suspect it had been sitting in the warmer for quite some time.
Everyone was pleasant. I'm sure that, during the season, this place is considerably more expensive, but in the off-season, it is an excellent deal.

Room Tip: I'm not sure if the suites cost more, but I would check. There were not available the night I w...

The lobby is well decorated and inviting. The rooms look recently refurbished with a king bed, refrigerator and plenty of hot water. The parking area is well lit. Carpet, bath, sinks were immaculate and well kept. Room is sufficiently dark for sleeping and sits off a main road so traffic noise is not a problem. The pool is outdoor and seasonal. I would recommend the Port Inn to anyone looking for a great stay at reasonable rates.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2014

Recently spent a night here during a quick weekend getaway to Maine. The hotel is located close to downtown Kennebunk close to several shops and restaurants. Room was clean, spacious, and looked to be recently remodeled. Large, clean, and modern bathroom as well. Room also had a fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking also. Our room was towards the back of the hotel and it was super quiet as the hotel abuts a residential neighborhood. The hotel has a large pool and patio area but since it was November the pool was closed but it is nice to know in case we ever stay in the area again during the summer. Continental breakfast included consisted of juices, muffins, omelets, cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast, and probably a few things that I forgot about. Staff was great and very friendly as well. Check in and check out were quick and easy. We'll definitely try to stay here again if we visit the area again.

Room Tip: Rooms toward back of hotel abut a residential neighborhood and seem to be the quietest.

We stay at the Port Inn over the Nov. 1 weekend. The hotel was clean, quiet and very nice. We were allowed to check in a little early - thank you! The room was clean, neat and very well set up. The breakfast in the morning was good, about what we had seen at other hotels of this type. Staff was nice, polite and professional. THe bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend the Port Inn in the future.

The only down side was the Choice Hotels survey I got in my email after the stay. It just seemed to go on, and on and on. Finally I just gave up and posted my review here. A great place to stay.
