Served on a kaiser style role rather than a traditional, split top, hot dog bun, this lobster roll was my favorite on this, my first trip, to Maine. The chunks of lobster were beautiful, extremely fresh and the lightly toasted roll had just the right, light hand with the butter - lobster roll perfection! As another poster mentioned the lobster glut wasn't reflected in the price but I found that to be the case throughout the state. Maybe if you bought fresh lobsters from a fish market or boat, the abundance of lobsters last summer would be reflected in those prices but not so much at restaurant. I'd pay double for this lobster roll anyway. It was that good.
The full belly clams were as good as any I've had on the Cape and better than some even. Onion rings were crisp, light and sweet. Portions were generous. Eating the fantastic food sitting outside on a sunny day was perfect. Highly recommend.
