Took my nephew and his date for Easter dinner yesterday. You may need to save up but if you want to be treated to wonderful food and once-in-a-lifetime service it will be worth it. The barn dining room has windows overlooking a stunning display of spring flowers. The four course meal is really seven with all the extra treats. Each course is a work of art for both the eyes and palate. The oyster and the scallop appetizers = best ever. The lobster entree and beef wellington entree were sublime. Service is like none I've ever experienced. Even the pianist was fabulous. If you can take your aperitif in the fireplaced drawing room. Being in a wheelchair I was chagrined to find the Inn not accessible (easily) but men in white dinner coats took care of that! Be sure to dress up as it is expected and why not, you can wear your jeans anytime. I look forward to going back.
