Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel is a great seasonal place to stay while visiting the Moosehead Lake/Greenville area. This two-floor motel is open May-October and is a very popular place to stay during the summer, especially during July fourth. There are three different types of accommodations: standard, efficiency and balcony (luxury). Both standard and efficiency rooms allow dogs for an extra fee of $20. Efficiency rooms come with one double bed and a kitchenette, whereas, standard rooms come with two double beds or one queen and no kitchenette. Balcony rooms have two queen-size beds, mini fridge and coffeemaker, and either a single or double-size whirlpool tub. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in these rooms. All rooms are non-smoking; include linens, towels, free local calls, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and TV with HBO and ESPN (size varies based on room accommodations).
Greenville is small enough that everything is walking distance away. The motel is right on the water of the Greenville Junction Wharf, the school and downtown is about one mile from the motel and there are plenty of fun activities in-between. I strongly suggest staying during the month of July because this is Greenville’s busiest and most fun time of the year. With parades, craft fairs, boat rides, fishing, fly-in weekend, fireworks, block parties, and other activities that everyone will enjoy. Bonus: the scenery is very picturesque that you can wake up to it every morning you stay at the Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Motel. Better yet, capture Greenville’s beauty with your own camera and remember the wonderful stay.
