Stayed here for one night. I was very impressed, the room was a very good size compared to other Econo Lodge's I've stayed at before. The front desk was friendly and helpful (even let us check in early), and the free breakfast in the morning was the cherry on top! Close to grocery store, gas station, and a short drive to shopping.

Highly recommend if looking for an affordable, comfortable stay!!

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are great for drive-up parking. (Especially if you're in Freeport to shop!)

Had to travel to Freeport for a job training. Since I am not made of money, I chose to make a reservation at the Econo Lodge. It was actually much nicer than many Econo Lodges I have visited! Staff were helpful and friendly. Found my room to be cute actually, the TV and heater both very new, and it didn't have that awful hotel room smell, thank goodness. My room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker/coffee. The first two key cards I was issued did not work on my door but the concierge fixed the problem very quickly. Breakfast was standard but just fine, saved me a lot of money on food. Overall a win.

We stayed at the Freeport Maine EconoLodge last week-end and we loved it even more than the 1st time. It is super clean has a expanded hot breakfast. Our room had new carpet and the nicest white comforters with the tie covers...pillows are also above average. The best part for us was the staff, each and every staff member was so helpful and friendly. The front desk is warm and welcoming and we loved having a fresh cup of coffee at 9:30pm. Clearly this Hotel has a warm and happy staff. We give it 5 STARS.

I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge as a stopover to northern Maine. I had two rooms and both were average, clean, and comfortable. I was impressed that the room was well-heated beforehand (it was very cold out) and that the hotel had prepared well for my arrival, with paperwork and room assignment already done. The breakfast in the morning was average...about what I would expect from this chain. The clerks at the desk were friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: All rooms open to the outside (no interior corridor), so plan accordingly.

Stayed there on a Bean run, so we were looking for value, clean, and comfortable. This Econo Lodge met all our needs.

Took a while to warm up the room and then a little more to get the temperature right.

TV might be oversized! Tons of channels.

The breakfast is minimal, but with what we saved on the nights stay - who cares?

Bed was minimal for comfort with okay pillows. The comforter cover spent the night on the floor - like it probably has before.

Bath and toilet fine. Clean.

This is a motel with doors directly to parking lot on 1st floor.
