Convenient location for shoppers/downtown strollers (2 blocks from LL Bean). Outdoor dining area was crowded, so we took that as a good sign and stopped for lunch. Sat indoors - clean and not too noisy, enough room between tables for my disabled friend to navigate her scooter. Waitress was very curt, sadly and obviously uncomfortable dealing with a handicapped person (directed all responses to me, etc.). I ordered a Sam Adams summer ale, and received a Steamboat (correct brand?) IPA. Friend requested the house white wine in a chilled glass, and received a half-glass of room temp wine in a warm glass. My paper cup of lobster bisque was tasty, though it offered only 4 semi-shredded small bites of lobster. My grilled chicken sandwich was unremarkable, accompanying fries were of the greasy-not-crispy generation, cole slaw was generic. My friend reported her lobster roll basket was similarly "just okay." Needless to say, we skipped dessert. Prices were definitely on the high side for a Freeport lunch. With so many dining options in Freeport, we won't repeat this mistake. Apparently under new ownership this year - I hope the new owners are able to benefit from their clientele's concerns.
