“Ocena Kayaking excursion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

We were given the Sunset Excursion as a gift, but the night we chose kept threatening thunder and lightning. The guides finally deemed it OK to get on the water, only to have it threaten again, So we came ashore, and were offered a refund or a chance to rebook. We signed up for another day later in the month, for an afternnon cruise. When that day was very windy, they let us rebook again to the next day, which turned out to be a perfect day on the water. So, the flexibility of booking, as well as the competence of the guides and the pleasure of being on the Maine coastal waters were selling points for this experience.

“Fun Time on the Water!”

We took a kayaking tour with several other folks and had a wonderful relaxing time! We highly suggest it for families who are at all different levels of comfort on the water.

“Discovery Day..what a great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We wanted to take the archery class and were delighted to find that while we were in the area, LL Bean was having a whole day of discovery classes in their outdoor series. We were able to try the archery and fly fishing classes. We attempted the skeet shooting, but a group of 12 came in just ahead of us and the wait was long. We went back to stand in line for archery a second time, so it all worked out. The bus shuttles are very efficient, taking attendees to Fogg Farm and back.

“Great for Introductory Classes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Kayaking, Clay Shoot, Archery are so fun. My wife and I did Kayaking and Clay shooting the first time we were in Freeport. The second time we did Archery and Clay Shooting again. Archery is so fun and you are shooting for about an hour. You get to keep your target. We even went and purchased a bow set to use at home. Clay shooting is really awesome if you want to shoot a shotgun. I did pretty well and the instructors are very helpful. $20 per activity is a very good deal. Highly recommended but call ahead of time to reserve as the classes book fast.
