“Great CLEAN PLACE TO STAY.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Just returned from a 2 night stay for business. This hotel was perfect. Clean clean clean and cozy. It was super close to all of the freeport attractions without being smack dab in the middle of all the congestion. Continental breakfast and friendly staff. I really have no complaints about this hotel and would happily stay when I return for leisure.

We just returned from a 10 night stay at the Casco Bay Inn. We come to Maine to visit relatives and it is nice to stay at a hotel. We were so pleased with the Casco Bay Inn. The rooms are spacious and well designed. The rooms were very clean and included a refrigerator and coffee maker. I loved that there is a sink outside the bathroom and one inside. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we ended up having to stay some extra days due to Hurricane Sandy and there was no issue extending out stay. The hotel offers a continental breakfast. All in all it was a very good hotel at a reasonable price.

excellent property

Have the receptionist give you directions; it is a maze from the front desk to your room if you go by the inside passage. Also, the receptionist may not be perfectly clear in directing you to your room using the outside route.
We really appreciated the value for money!

Room Tip: Ask the receptionist to be clear in her directions to your room

I always stay at the Casco Bay Inn when we are in the area. Close enough to L.L. Bean and far enough out of town to enjoy the quite. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and does everything they can you to make your stay a great one. The best value for a hotel in the area.

Room Tip: Never had a bad room.

This motel is clean, comfortable, quiet, and up-to-date. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Keurig coffee makers were a great addition and our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. It is a short drive to downtown Freeport and the prices are very competitive. I would go back in a minute!

I've never stayed in a motel that had beds as comfortable as this one. I stayed in a room on the first floor near the exit. Was afraid that it might be nosiy but it was very quite. Now, I was there in late Sept 2012 so it wasn't very crowed so I don't know if this would be a problem any other time. The room was very clean and the staff friendly. Everything in the room was operational. The breakfast consisted of cold cerals, danish, bagles, fruit, fruit cups, yougart, boiled eggs, oatmeal, toast, coffee and juice. The staff recommended a new resturant down the street, Freeport Seafood for dinner. They have happy hour specials so the two of us were able to eat for $25. I would recommend both the motel and the resturant to a friend.

Room Tip: I stayed in 127 which was next to the exit. No problem with noise on a Sunday night and it was easy...

My mother and I stayed at the Casco Bay Inn this past week during a trip to Maine. We have stayed here before. The Inn is clean and located close to, but away from the craziness of downtown Freeport. We had a large, comfortable room with two queen beds, a flat screen tv, a Keurig Coffee Maker, and a refrigerator. The room appears to be recently upgraded, and it is very clean. The beds are comfortable, the linens are clean and a high quality, and it is a great place to stay. They offer a continental breakfast (we went to the Freeport Cafe for fantastic blueberry pancakes instead), and they have a nice porch where we've hung out in the past with a bottle of wine and cheese and crackers. We got a great rate with our AAA card. The front desk staff and everyone else we saw were very friendly. We will be back!
