“Good Rehearsal Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

Came here for a rehearsal dinner and they did a good job - food was maybe 3.5 stars, but the service was very attentive and the event ran very smoothly. Oysters were delicious and super fresh, though! And the bartender, with some instruction, was able to make a delicious sidecar.

“Great place on the water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Lunch on the harbour was perfect. Wonderful seafood. Coconut shrimp the best outside of Florida. Look forward to going back.

“Great views, good food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

We went there during a boat trip around Casco Bay. For boaters just hail the Handy Boat Marina on the VHF for a mooring number and the tender will pick you up for lunch.
We start with some Darmiscotta oysters (nuf said!) while others had the chowder which we alll thought was excellent, not too thick, plenty of bacon flavor and no clingy celery salt that a lot of places seem to think is necessary.
Our mains followed with a lobster roll ( as good as Linda Bean's) fish and chips, and a chicken caesar wrap for the one meat eater in our group. All were excellent.
Service was excellent and you can't beat the views.
Well worth a trip by car or boat.

“The Bar and View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

This has been on our to try list since it has been redone. We finally went last night & my new advice... go for the view, go for the drinks, go for the seafood... This is where you want to bring your tourist friends when they visit. A good mix of upscale/locals..... We were seated downstairs due to a private party upstairs. Great feeling in the venue & looking out on the water as you enjoy your food. By all accounts the scallops & pollock were good. I am not of the seafood variety so my burger was tolerable but not outstanding - overcooked... but it is what it is when you dine at a seafood 'based' restaurant. As for kids... no kids menu, but they will pretty much make whatever your kid desires (for ours it was chicken fingers/fries). I say enjoy after a day out on Casco Bay, or dock the boat and come in for lunch. I just want to go back for the atmosphere!!!

“Lunch at Falmouth Sea Grill”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We arrived to join another couple, so sat down to chat and catch up. Although the hostess acknowledged our arrival, it took ten minutes and my requesting a waitperson to get someone to the table to take a drink order. After drinks and food were ordered, the hostess returned to inform us that a server would be out to take our order. Communication among the staff seemed a bit casual. Once the food arrived, we really enjoyed our meal, including sharing a great oyster platter. If the communication and service were tightened up, this would truly be outstanding as the views of boats and the harbor and restaurant setting are perfect.
