“Be patient, it's worth the wait.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

This restaurant is unique and full of local flair. Go hungry, because the servings are huge, but expect to wait a good long time for your food to arrive. The Owner is a bit brusque, don't call her Ma'am or you might not get a table. You might be asked to sit with other folks, but if you insist she will clean a table off for you. The pancakes are huge and the meat plentiful. My son had Bacon in his pancakes, I had Cranberries. The coffee was hot and kept coming and by the time our food arrived we were ravenous! Go with someone you want to talk to or a good book. They also have ice cream and a bar with music at night. I think this will become a family favorite.

“Awful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

We ate breakfast there this morning. A lot of food but not good food. Potato was great big chunks of boiled potatoes, not browned or seasoned. The bacon was see thru like saran wrap. I went to ladies room while waiting for food and it was very dirty. Black specks on the floor(I thought perhaps mold) and also on the lower walls and there was at least an inch of water on the floor. This bathroom has not been cleaned in a long time. The waitresses and help were prompt and helpful but will not be going back there again. We had bad meal about 2 months ago and thought maybe we should try it again. Worse this time and it is not clean.

“Great food, huge portions, and great atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Stopped here in route to Whitewater rafting in The Forks, ME. Had great comfort foods with large portions. Teens loved it. Try the whoopsie pies.

“Lots of Food, Needs New Decor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

pancake portions are huge. bacon was burned. somewhat slow service during our first visit.

need to invest in new chairs which are torn up and replace the tables that have a bar across underneath which hits against your legs so you cannot comfortably pull your chair all the way in.

we have no plans to go back.

“Be Hungry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Went for breakfast and I must say the portions were way too much. I know most people think the bigger the portion the better the meal and or the value you are getting. However, there were enough home fries on my plate for three or four adults. They were average at best. The omelet was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I also tried my wife's pancakes and they were very good. Again the pancakes were huge and there was no way she could finish. They each had to be about 15" in diameter. The atmosphere was cheerful and the staff were very friendly. I would go back and skip the home fries or at least ask them to scale back the portion. We threw a lot of food out and I felt guilty doing so. Either go there super hungry or ask them to scale it back or of course you can share!
