“Just fine!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012

This was everything we could have asked for at this price, dog friendly and a short drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable beds and well-appointed rooms make this a great place to stay. The only odd thing we encountered was a large chair and ottoman jammed into the corner of our room between the bed and wall. It’s location made it useless for anything other than a suitcase support and made accessing that side of the bed a problem. No matter, we’d gladly stay here on our next visit.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here several times and it is always clean and comfortable. This time our room was across from the icemaker, a little noisy but not a real problem. Would love liquid creamer with the coffee maker, but this is a very personal choice. The room was a double queen and was a tiny bit cramped, especially since we did not need two beds, also not a really big deal.

Excellent stay will stay here when ever we visit the area. Strongly recommend.

Booked this hotel because of the price, I probably won't stay again. There was nothing terribly wrong with it just older and tired looking. The breakfast was not good, same cereal, toast or donuts each morning, the coffee was not very good either. I do have to say the bed was very comfortable.

Stayed here during a late night drive to Bar Harbour. I thought the room rate was a little high since some of the hotel seemed a little dated. I do agree with others that this hotel is maybe more of the $90 range instead of the $130 we paid. Our room was good, bed was comfortable but sinks and shower drains were semi plugged (so much for a long shower after the late drive). Breakfast set-up was good so overall it wasn't a bad stay. I think if we come by this way again we will try the Hamton Inn across the street.

My Husband and I were pleasantly surprised during our stay. The service was friendly and accomodating and the rooms were spacious and clean. We one of the better views at the hotel and the continental breakfast was much to our liking. We would definitly stay again when in the area.

Stayed here for a quick overnight on our way to Acadia Natl Park, which was about 45 minutes away. The hotel was $140 for a Thursday night, in a small town that I consider very overpriced for the time of year (fall, not summer), in a suburban town. I would think this hotel should be more in the $89-99 range. This is a nice, recently remodeled inn, with indoor pool and also serves as small conference center with meeting rooms and amenties likewise. Nice lobby and friendly front desk staff. Room was nicely decorated, spacious, and everything worked fine. Complimentary continental breakfast was spare, mostly muffins, toast, cereal, etc, no waffle maker. Free wi-fi.
