The Furama was what we needed to after our poor experience in Seminyak.
Traditional hospitality was all around with nothing being too hard for them.
We used the shuttle bus once but then opted for taxis which were waiting at the hotel as it was more convenient.
The rooms we clean and well kept. The stones in the shower were a bit of a pain and I also didn't like that the safes were loosely placed in a cupboard.
The hotel food was good but restricted in selection. Buffet breakfast also good with the typical Asian orange juice that tastes like fanta.
The spa area had the best massage that I had on the trip. The rooms were stunning and we wished we hadn't left it till the final day to use the facilities.
Would easily stay again.

Our family stayed for 6 x Nights from Christmas Day to New Years Eve in two Pool Villas. Was a lovely and peaceful stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and prices reasonable considering the quality. The hotel is a little way out of Ubud but the benefit of this is the tranquillity and the beautiful rural surrounds. Most mornings I went for a bike ride (hire from hotel) through the tracks in the rice fields, and it was just stunning. There are four free shuttles into and out of Ubud each day and it is no trouble getting a car back to the Hotel for $10 or so if the shuttle schedule doesn't suit, so being out of town is not really a big issue. Was given a lovely farewell and would definitely stay there again when back in Ubud.

I was attending the Soulshine festival at Green School, so the location was perfect. The villas are superb and very clean with everything you could want for a quiet stay.

The staff are lovely and friendly and were able to help me with anything I needed anytime. The cycling and trekking are excellent. Oka, runs the activities there and being from the local village his knowledge of the area and customs was just fantastic. Thank you so much Oka for sharing your village with me.

All in all a great stay at Furama and highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle!

We loved the pool villa it was so great and spacious and relaxing with traditional furniture.
Hotel itself has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere and surroundings. Very gorgous. Service and food was great and drinks were mostly good too.
No one seemed to care when we were leaving though it didnt make us want to go back. there was no proper farewell thanks for staying and come again. Just a bunch of guys talking among themselves at reception as we were leaving was a bit awkward. Other than that really really great though.

The location also was far away from Ubud centre and a fair bit of a drive but also makes it quiet and calm.

We stayed here as a family of 5 and had a deluxe villa with our own private pool. Loved the privacy but didn't like showering on the pebbles and the baths looked dirty although that could be cause of age. We didn't mind the distance from Ubud as we used the shuttle but after the first night, they changed the schedule so you can no longer get a shuttle back after dinner. This is something I think they need to address as the only alternative would be to eat at their restaurant. We found that to be very average but with an expensive price tag that we would not want every night with a family. Staff were very friendly and always willing to assist and the SPA centre offers many choices for relaxation.

Dear Sir/Madam

First of all thank you very much for your recently accommodation, and hopefully you will be return as your second home. Regards to rescheduling the shuttle bus from Hotel to Ubud and return is the management decision to maximizing the other POS [Point of Sale] with the price had been reduced. We believe that the price of the food at the property a bit higher than at outside since the hygienically different which was our focus and concerned. We really appreciated for your feed back as our reference on improving our facilities, services and benefit to our valued customer. My partner and I recently stayed at Furama Villa's and Spa and would definitely make a return trip.

The Villa's are located some 15 minutes from the city centre of Ubud, away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare. Regular and free shuttle services, as well as the abundance of taxi's in the area, makes traveling to and from the city centre easy.

The resort itself is coming on seven years, so is still relatively new. While there were some issues with water temperature and pressure, the rooms themselves were beautifully appointed, well maintained and clean. The air conditioner was also functioning - which in Bali is a must.
Our room had a private swimming pool that was kept clean, and was a refreshing chance at privacy.

Staff at the resort were some of the friendliest and most helpful that I've ever encountered, and none of our requests were considered too large. My partner took part in one of the cooking classes offered by the resort, in which traditional fare is made, and was very impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness of chef Katut.

We also had a private bbq at our villa, which included traditional music and our own chef. The food was excellent, and I can highly recommend this to any couple wanting to spend a romantic evening in Bali.

The spa attached to the resort also offers a full range of services, and is ideally located.

If you are looking for a private get-away surrounded by lush vegetation, then Furama is definitely for you.
