“Wonderful hosts”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Terry, and annette are as good as it gets as owners/host of a B&B. Cheerful, engaging, and will give you all the recommendations that you need. We had a room on the first floor just off the dining room. It had a sitting room with a couch and large LED TV, and was very confortable. Overall condition is above average compared to most B&B's. Would we stay again - YES!

We stayed at the Blue Harbor House for 3 days in early October. The rooms were wonderful and the breakfasts were varied and uniformly wonderful. This is one of the few B&Bs that offers additional servings if you wish, which were most welcomed with the blueberry pancakes. The rooms are of varying size but very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: If possible get a room away from the street.

This was our first stay at Blue Harbor House, but it came with the recommendation of some trusted innkeepers. The inn is located on busy Rte. 1 on the way into Camden which makes it convenient for getting out for day trips.

We had booked the Sea Dream Suite for 4 days. The room was large and lovely with a separate en suite which could be separated by sliding pocket doors. There was a large soaking tub and separate shower stall. Everything was clean and the towels were especially thick. The queen bed was very comfortable.

The innkeepers, Terry and Annette, presented wonderful breakfasts each morning. Each started with a special treat, from poached pears to home made granola with a honey drizzled yogurt. The main dish, from individual quiches to eggs Florentine were well prepared and a feast for the palate as well as the eye

Terry and Annette do a wonderful job at the Blue Harbor House.

Room Tip: Any room with a soaking tub is always a good choice in my book!

The weather at the time we stayed was not so nice but the room and the breakfast supplied was very good. For us it was a well chosen menu of american breakfast we enjoyed every morning.
The atmosphere was nice and the hosts were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed while staying in the nautical nook.

This is our 3rd visit to the Blue Harbor House and this place just gets better and better! Terry's charm and friendly demeanor at breakfast coupled with Annette's first class customer care and phenomenal breakfasts make this Inn the best and only place to stay in Camden! The rooms are quaint New England yet classy. The Inn is so clean, inviting and warm. Highly highly recommended!

Room Tip: The whole place is fantastic!

Clean, Cozy, Comfy, Convenient, this our favorite B&B for five years in a row! Breakfast is a surprising delight each morning served at your own table. Terry and Annette are the most humble hosts; just read others' reviews. Only a short walk to lovely Camden Harbor or a short drive up Mt. Batte, yet only about 1.5 hrs from a Bar Harbor day trip. If your looking for a place to stay in the Camden area, this is it!

our room was spacious, beautiful, clean, cozy, and smelled great. I love this Inn. We stayed in the room called beach roses maybe? It had its own entrance. it is an easy short walk into the main part of town. I found this place online but I wanted to talk to someone before I booked. i talked to Annette. She sold me. She is so sweet and nice. They make a delicious breakfast every morning and have tea and fresh cookies available all day. I will always stay with them during my visits to Camden. Book early because they book up.
