“Wonderful Two Nights in a Row”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

We recently spent 2 nights in Camden. Last year we there one night, and enjoyed a dinner at Natalie's. However, because of a wedding, it was not open to the public this year. Atlantica seemed like the next best option, especially because we love ocean views. (We are from the landlocked midwest.) I made reservations at Atlantica for both nights, but thinking we might find a different restaurant for the second night. Making the reservations over the phone was a pleasure - the staff member was so friendly and helpful.

We found the same exceptionally friendly, accommodating service dining at the restaurant. Although they seated us at a window table as we had requested, it was such a nice night that we asked for a table on the deck. They immediately found us a nice table there, although the deck was busy. The view of the harbor was beautiful. We can't say enough good about our waitress, Torey. She was friendly, efficient, patient, and always there when we needed her.

Our food was delicious. The filet as well as the lobster were perfectly prepared. The sides and bread were wonderful. We loved the profiteroles and chocolate tort. There was a nice selection of wines by the glass, which were excellent and reasonably priced.

Without any thought of finding a different restaurant to try, we returned the next evening for a second equally as great dinner, service (again, Torey was outstanding), and atmosphere. And we will certainly do the same next year when we visit lovely Camden again.

Had a lobster which was one of the best I have ever had. Great location right on the harbor, and wonderful service too. Would definitely go back.

“Rude, Rude, Rude”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We were referred to this place by the inn staff where we were staying. While reviewing the menu before the hostesses greeted us, we noticed that the price of lobster was referred to as "market price". We graciously inquired about the the "market price" for lobster before being seated and was quoted a price that was triple that of the surrounding dining establishments who listed their prices on outdoor menus. This was the second half of our remaining vacation and we were attempting to budget our expenses accordingly - we don't mind paying over $100+++/meal for great service. However, we quietly thanked the two ladies at the front entrance and were about to leave when they said very rudely . . . GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!! and laughed at us. You couldn't pay us to return to that establishment after the public humiliation that we endured. Within five minutes, we were dining at Peter Ott's, enjoying a wonderful atmosphere and the best lobster!

“Great Location & good food also”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We ate here last week. The service was outstanding, the food was good - I had the crab and lobster cake - it was not warm unfortunately but tasty. The location is beautiful - would definitely go back when I'm in the area and give it another try. It also appears to be appreciated by the locals as several locals referred us to the restaurant.
