Description: Located in the century-old Knox Mill, our bistro is situated on top of the Megunticook River, just between the two waterfalls. At Brevetto, our modern Italian bistro cuisine is designed to pair perfectly with our extensive– and almost exclusively Italian– wine list. Brevetto is Italian for “patent,” and throughout the restaurant you will find turn-of-the-century schematics of wine presses and odd, out-dated food machines. In stark contrast to the complicated workings of a “salami washing machine,” our menu is simple and straightforward. We feature a large menu with a range of grilled pizzas, Italian pastas, and a variety of entrées. In addition to our extensive wine list, we also have a full bar with artisan draft beers and liquors. Enjoy your dinner in our inviting dining room, or on our waterfront deck. Relax with an obscure Italian red wine at our bar, or an extra-dry gin martini on the leather sofa. Brevetto has some of the best of both worlds, right in downtown Camden.

“Best New Restaurant in Camden!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2011

I disagree with the complaints about this restaurant - we had a completely different experience. We loved it! The atmosphere is fresh and chic, which is pretty rare for Camden. We sat at the bar and sampled a few of the very unique cocktails (of which the list is extensive). The menu is creative and the food was outstanding. Its certainly not going to be your typical tourist trap in Camden..........A MUST TRY!

“Don't go here...it's not good.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2011

Our food was not very good. There was obviously not a bar tender and while our server truly tried to concoct our beverages, they were subpar. The lounge/bar area is cool and we would possibly go back for a glass of wine (which they were out of several of their selections by the glass) but not for the food.

“A delightful find in Camden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2010

Three of us and infant dined here on August 6, 2010. We had not been here before although we have been to many Camden restaurants. I am a stern critic, but I offer nothing but praise for this fine restaurant. They accommodated our infant happily. Service was very prompt and attentive. The dipping oil for the homemade bread was the best I have encountered anywhere. Our entrees were seared haddock, bouillabaisse, and an artrichoke pizza. Everything was really perfect. My wife declared my pizza to be the best pizza she has ever tasted. The bouillabassie was filled with mussels, lobster and fish with a marvelously subtle broth. The haddock was nicely seared and accompanied with lovely vegetables. I thought this haddock was better than the haddock that I had had at Atlantica two nights previously, and it was abit cheaper. The service remained excellent throughout even when our infant decided to sing. Luckily, there is a lovely deck surrounding the outside of the restaurant overlooking a stream and a waterfall that is a great place for a drink or to entertain a one year old while others eat. This is my favorite restaurant in the area.
