“Atop the Stone Building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Enjoy the short hike from the base OR drive to the top. The view of Camden Harbor is worth the time. The stone structure at the top will give you a nice view of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding scenes.

“Fabulous view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

You can drive to the top or hike to the top. Either way, you'll love it when you get there. Bring a picnic.

Beautiful views of Camden harbor and great hiking with the family. You just have to make sure you go up on a clear day.

“Nothing Quite LIke It”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

If you crawled up the front trail to the top of Mt Battie, you've earn one of the best views in Maine. If you drove up, well what can I write that won't get censored. You may have to go to Hong Kong to get a similar perspective, being so close looking down on town with a vibrant harbor.

“Great hike with truly awesome view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

This is a great hike from the base of the mountain-- really easy, even for unexperienced hikers. It's not terribly strenuous (I hiked it with a head cold) and the pay off is a spectacular view of Camden Harbor.

You can also drive up to the top, if you're not up for the hike. It's about a 45 minute hike up and back. It should only take 10 minutes if you drive up. I've been in both summer and fall- it doesn't matter the season, the view is always worth it!
