“You will be Happy you stayed here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2013

I stayed in the Biddeford/Portland Maine property, during a recent visit to family I traveled with my 70+ mom. from ct/ny area
We were greeted with a smile and felt like we were visiting friends upon entering to check in the owners/managers were delightfull, and very welcoming, The room was very clean, no foul odors ,Had WiFi in my room and quiet we felt very safe. this facilty does not have 400 count cotton sheet or spa tubswith those little useless bottles of cheap soap we all never use,and no flat screens with x-box, but it is evident that the owners are present and take care of their property, I have been in plenty of the fancy places that had bugs , dirty sheets, and hair in the bath tubs,. I would pick this over any of them, I knew the owners were available and willing to address any issue at any time. also easy on/off the highway..

This is a great little motel, and an excellent value. It is a basic motel, one story, the kind where you park right outside your room. The room was very clean and comfortable. A small fridge in the room is included. The price was reasonable. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There is great shopping and dining (and the college) in town close by... also easy access to highways. The motel is a sharp right turn off Pleasant St. (go slow & be on the right side of the road or you might miss it). Breakfast (fruit, cereal, donuts, etc) and coffee are free in the lobby each morning. It was a quiet and relaxing stay, nothing fancy, but it was a Best Value... we would definitely stay there again.

As others, have said, this is a very straightforward establishment. It has few luxuries, but it does the basics in a luxurious way. Everything was extremely clean and neat, and all the staff were most welcoming and helpful. I would gladly stay there again!

I spent one night here while I was passing through Maine. The staff were welcoming and genuine. The room was clean and comfortable. My room was on the first floor and I was able to actually open windows to enjoy the evening air and not have to rely on an air conditioner - this made me very happy. The breakfast was very portable and delicious. I took a plate full of items and ate in the car. I would very highly recommend this Inn.

We stayed 3 nights at the Brunswick Americas Best Value Inn - from the telephone booking and throughout our stay the owners, Anila and Hari, were attentive and eager to help. A 5 minute drive into the center of Brunswick, the motel is very clean and well-maintained, and though it is close to the main road the traffic was not a serious disturbance. The owners were able to answer all of our questions about the area, from bike shops to restaurants to summer festivals, and they offer a breakfast far superior to most motels, with fresh fruit and an assortment of cereals, breads and cakes. They take pride in offering excellent service with a personal touch.

Originally planned on staying in Portland, ME but drove the extra distance (heading north) to stay at this highly rated gem of a motel. Based on the brand and the price I wasn't expecting luxury. However, based on the reviews and Tripadvisor accolades, I was expecting a very clean, comfortable room. It was passable in terms of comfort. In terms of cleanliness it was disgusting. It was old, dirty, and smelly. Plain and simple. On the positive side, the in-room fridge was convenient, the wifi worked well, and the owners were pleasant (she got me extra pillows when I asked). I don't want to bash anybody, I simply want people to know the truth and have realistic expectations. I can't speak for the other rooms but ours definitely was not fresh, clean, immaculate, or any of the other adjectives used to describe it in other "user reviews."

Close to Fort Popham and the excellent Cook's Lobster House on Bailey's Island. The innkeeper is knowledgeable and friendly and had great recommendations on where to go and what to see. Quiet place to stay, nice atmosphere, easy to stay. We'll be back!
