This is a very good property. Rooms are airy, spacious & well maintained. Service quality is not upto the mark. It took me approx 5 min to complete the formalities before I could get the keys of the room. The turn around time for orders (food) is even slower... Imagine spending 15min to get your desired stuff during breakfast time. Not upto the mark. The number of TV channels (options) are very limited & does not cater to the requirement of the business travelller or for foreign tourist. Mostly limited to the regional channels apart from a couple of news channels

If you have to be in the harbour: 30 min drive.
If you want to visit old Cochin: 45 drive.
If you want to visit all the foreign car importers: perfect the have their show rooms on the same road.
Rooms: perfect. Bathrooms: perfect. Bar: not cosy. Restaurant: the Indian restaurant has a fine selection but NO wine list.
Staff in the restaurant: improvement necessary (friendly enough but incompetent if comes to make separate bills for a group).
Try swimming in the rooftop pool during a thunderstorm but beware of the very slippery surroundings of the pool. This is an experience.
The spa staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

stay in holiday inn cochin was a surprice package for my kids and indeed they loved it. the bathroom ' toielet were hygienic. the cot was so broad that we didnt need an extra bed. the buffet were exellent and worthy eventhough we are vegetarians. the swimming pool water was clean. the behaviour of all staff members can be rated as out standing. we got an early check in and lake check out and to add to it , we got a half kilo complimentry choclate cake too..

Its very close to literally everywhere. A very fresh feel, clean and everything was well placed or well located. Nice ambience, good team, good restaurants, good food (nice options!!!)
Definitely staying here now onwards!!!!
