“Wonderful Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

The staff here is wonderful and they have a great family atmosphere. They have a few dishes that are gluten free friendly if you ask to hold the wheat. Eating here will also not break your budget for home cooking

“Vacation 2012”

The food here is great, always look forward to the Coach House. No matter what ordered the food and service is always the best. It is close to the motel.

“Great dinner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

We had dinner at Coach House as it was recommended by staff at Vacationland Inn where were spent the night. There was a small discount for guest of the Inn. We found the waitress to be friendly. The portions were large, my chicken stir fry was enough for two! We returned to the restaurant for breakfast on our way through Brewer on Sunday morning, but did not stop as people were lined up outside.

“Frozen seafood, instant potatoes, canned gravy.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

If you want to eat cheap food with no flavor that isn't home made, and an amateur wait staff then this is the place for you. The last two times I was here I had a seafood platter the first trip, the second time it was pot (rubber) roast. The seafood platter consisted of frozen seafood, and this was in June! the batter was off color and the fish was a square block.

The other night I had pot roast that was like the sole of a pair of Doc Martin's boots, the mashed potatoes were definitely made from potato flakes and the gravy was either canned, from a jar or a packet. The sandwiches are alright and the breakfasts are okay but nothing to brag about.

The wait staff has some good people but they have some real slackers, not to mention rude. The young jerks need to learn some customer service skills from the long time waitresses. We're paying at the register, the phone rings, the girl answers the phone, throws the receipt at my wife and says here. No pen, she talks on the phone, my wife waits. Girl gets off the phone and says "what" my wife asks for a pen, adds the miniscule tip to the bill and we leave. I have given the "Roach House" too many chances over the years.

There is NOTHING down home about this place.
