We were awaken every morning with the aroma of a gourmet breakfast by Kim. She and her staff were delightful. The rooms were tastefully decorated and our bathroom wall was handpainted by a local artist. How awesome is that! Loved the private balcony. It was a short walk to the village shops, restaurants, and boat tours. We loved every minute and can't wait to return.
Thank you Jeff, Kim, Metro, and staff for a wonderful holiday.

Pick a room with a view of the bay. The fog and tide changes are impressive and mesmerizing. We happened to go during WindJammer Days, where lots of tall ships sailed in, and fireworks were planned (but cancelled due to fog). One of the unexpected highlights was a parade (part of WJ Days) that was quintessential Americana. We took a rambling drive along the coast which was beautiful. Enjoy lobster rolls from any of the restaurants across the bay. The whale watching excursion we took rounded out the getaway. (Dress warmly if you go!)

Every amenity was thoughtfully provided. Our room had 3 magnificent windows in front which overlooked the harbor. The queen bed was incredibly comfortable. We really appreciated having a writing desk, toiletries were first rate and plentiful, and breakfast was homemade waffles, fresh fruit, etc. The common rooms include a computer, an excellent sound system, snacks and much more. Plenty of parking, unusual in BH. This place is right on the main street so it's an easy, quick walk to all the restaurants and galleries.

The innkeepers were the friendliest, most informative I came across in my Maine travels. The ladies at McNabb's Tearoom had great things to say about this place, as well. My description really falls short of all that this B&B has to offer. You just have to see it to believe it. Highly recommended if you're not on a strict budget.

This being my third time at the Greenleaf Inn I cannot tell you how it just gets better and better each time. Jeff and Bev are the nicest most down to earth innkeepers I have ever met. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The same staff is still there and they do a fabulous job with cleaning, cooking and just about everything. The amenities are unbelievable. All the freebies you get when you stay there are a great addition as so many inns do not offer them. Coffee, teas, cookies, juice, soda, bathrobes and fridges in all the rooms, bathroom toiletries, just everything you could want. My husband and I took a 3 week vacation and stayed at some supposed #1 inns in New England. Believe me this is the nicest of all of them. Thanks again Bev and Jeff & Metro and all the staff, especially Kim the breakfast cook. You are all Top Notch in our book and we'll be back next year.

Admirals Quarters of Greenleaf Inn is located in the heart of Boothbay Harbor. Room 5 has a magnificent view right from the bed. Jeff and Bev make you feel right at home at their clean and very comfortable inn. They were a wealth of information for the places to go or to dine at also. Metro (their dog) was a great welcoming committee too. The wonderful breakfasts are just perfect to start your day in Boothbay. Website depicts everything that they say and more......
