“Great food, service and a spectacular view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

What a picture perfect evening to dine on the deck! It was like being inside a picture postcard, only real! The wait staff was excellent as was the food! The scallops with risotto and Brown's special clambake were fresh and presented well! We hope to return soon!

“Great for families with children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Yes, this is a throwback to the 80's but the service is also. It's a good place to take our 4 grandchildren-lots to see inside and watch the boats outside. The children range from 3-10 and someone immediately brought crayons and preprinted paper for them to color, which kept them busy throughout the evening. When they finished dinner and coloring, the older two played tic tac toe. The cheeseburgers were well cooked and eaten quickly. My only comment is that the plate was also filled with too many french fries. For children of their ages, less would be better as it was almost overwhelming. The seafood for the 4 adults was well prepared-with the scallops perfectly done.

“outdated and boring”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Not sure what folks see in this spot. It's a throwback to the late 80's early 90's restaurant. The food is middling and it's basically a cattle call of people amassed in the knick knack laden dining room. It's great for people who do not have high expectations. Yes, the servers are nice and efficient.

“Consistent as always”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

This is a great place to stay and eat. It has been a mainstay for years. The food is always good and fresh and the waitstaff always pleasant. The food is good for the price as well. If you are staying at the hotel you will not be disappointed. The rooms are nice, clean, and all have a wonderful view of the water and docks.
Over all, good place to eat and stay in Boothbay Harbor.
