My husband and I had a wonderful and romantic weekend at the Thistle Inn. The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was fantastic. A great weekend getaway!

The Thistle Inn is great. It is small and cozy with only 5 rooms and the staff really goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The Inn is clean and the service is impeccable. It is located in town near all the shopping so it is easy to take a stroll down the road along the harbor and shop or eat along the way. Be sure to visit the Inn’s wine shop, and the bar carved from a old boat. The restaurant features local cuisine and is served in several rooms each with their own charm. In the summer, dining outside under the stars is a treat. I stay there every time I visit Boothbay!

Spent a wonderful couple of days in Boothbay Harbor at the Thistle Inn. Room was excellent & very clean with a lovely private bath and mini refrigerator!In the morning, breakfasts were warm, wonderful, and filling. Also had dinner in their attached Pub and very nice dining room! The innkeepers, the bartender, and the waitstaff were all very attentive and friendly. It was just a short walk to all that Boothbay Harbor has to offer like;shopping, whale watching, people watching! Well worth the long drive from southern Massachusetts.

The rooms are recently redone, very clean, furnished with furniture which you would expect in a Ship captain's home, comfortable beds, and quiet.
