“Love that Jacuzzi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2009

The hosts, Phil and Laura, are very nice people and do great jobs of making you feel welcome. The Blue Heron is in a good location and within 1 block walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We stayed in rooms 1 & 2 and found them to be very comfortable. The Jacuzzi tub in room 2 was a nice touch. There is a nice apartment size refrigerator / freezer in the rooms that came in quite handy. Nice size TV’s in each room (if that’s important to you). The balconies offer a view of the end of the harbor and the grounds are very well maintained. Maybe next time we’ll have time to use the kayaks. Good breakfast. The only thing that needs improvement is the window coverings. Our rooms faced east so the morning sun woke us up very early as the blinds were not darkening blinds. We found the Blue Heron to be a comfortable, convenient location and would highly recommend it.

Great rooms, delicious breakfast, wonderful owners/hosts. Most beautifully landscaped B&B in town.

We searched multiple sites to find a place to stay in Booth Bay Harbor and ended up staying at the Blue Heron because they had availability. The rooms looked pleasant enough online but I never expected it to be as wonderful as it was. Never having been to Maine before my intial impression ,traveling on Route 1 ,was "where is this man taking me!!" Entering Booth Bay was like entering a whole new world! It is a quaint New England seaside town. When we arrived at the Blue Heron we realized immediately that we had totally lucked out. The owners, Phil and Laura, were absolutely delightful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was scrumptious. The other guests were as friendly and interesting as the owners. It was conveniently located to all that Booth Bay had to offer. We will definitely go back and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast. The web site is not deceiving. Every passer-by stops to look at the beautiful annuals out front. The breakfasts are delicious and added with some local color from Phil, the chef/host. Our hosts were accommodating, yet not overbearing. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with every detail provided. I can't say enough about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!!

This was our fourth stay at the Blue Heron Seaside Inn and it was just as fabulous as our first. The location, rooms and breakfasts are beyond compare. Laura and Phil are the perfect hosts. And Laura's gorgeous flowers get more beautiful each year!

My wife and I stayed at the Blue Heron over the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful experience. This inn is impeccable and one of the most charming, clean and pristine inns that we've experienced from the quality of the rooms to the lead crystal juice glasses used in the morning breakfast service.
Phil and Laura were very gracious, caring and helpful...they are just downright good people. My wife and I would highly recommend this inn if you're planning a trip to Boothbay Harbor.

Very nice B&B in a great location. Great water views from room. Short walk to picturesque Boothbay Harbor and short drive to some wonderful places to visit (Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and pretty shoreline walks). The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about great places to visit. Good food. Highly recommended.
