We wanted to go away for a couple of days for our Anniversary and after reading many reviews about Brown's Wharf Inn we decided to stay.I had booked a third floor Harbor side king size room for this July via email as the hotel had closed for the season. I got an email right away to confirm. Upon arrival the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful we had arrived at 11:30 (check in time was 3:00) we wanted to let them know we had arrived and could they please call us when our room was ready and to our surprise the desk clerk said that our room was ready and we could move in right away. Our room was located on the 3rd floor harbor side you could take the stairs but they did have an elevator as well. When we got to the room it was immaculate very clean the room itself was spacious the bathroom was small just the shower and toilet but looked like it was updated the sink was outside the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable for me was very hard my husband said it was just ok. The view from the deck was beautiful the only downfall on the deck was that there really is no barrier between decks so if you sit out on the deck you see the people on either side of you. The restaurant was great they have a turkey dinner special on Thursday's and Sunday nights it was fantastic. The breakfast was just ok we ordered an omelet and it was dry and loaded with to much cheese the potatoes were also very dry. We ate there on another night I had the Filet Mignon and scolloped potatoes and my husband had the prime rib was fantastic. All in all it was a very nice hotel the entire staff was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it you can't beat the view try and stay on the higher floors the view is much better.
