Great place to stay. Owners take pride in their B&B and it shows throughout. For the price I could not have asked for more. Blueberry pancakes were fantastic, so good I had them for 2 days! Compliments to the owners!

We have been going to Bethel for the last 11 years, and have stayed at eaten at many of the area's inns and B&Bs. The Victoria Inn has been the best experience we've had. It's been under new ownership since October, 2006. From what we heard, the previous owners kind of neglected the place and really didn't seem to want to take care of anything. What a change! There are 14 rooms, each one beautifully decorated and unique. The Carriage Hoouse, which was the original barn, has several suites with lofts that are perfect for families or larger groups. The main house has typically beautiful Victorian style rooms, tastefully decorated with period antiques. The restaurant, which consists of several rooms, was very quaint. The food was top shelf all around. This is definitely the place to stay in Bethel.

We recently spent a night in a beautiful room at the Victoria Inn. It was warm, cozy, clean, and welcoming - everything a B&B should be. We were greeted with a plate of delicious freshly baked cookies and pastries. Breakfast was also excellent, and the management was very caring and attentive. We will return!

We recently spent a week at The Victoria (Jan 07) and found it to be a most rewarding experience. We had stayed at the Victoria about 6 years ago, and found our current visit far superior. The Inn is under new ownership and the difference is most noticable. We were amazed at the quality of the food and service. Our needs were met in a very warm, genuine manner with none of the over zealous clinging that I have experienced at other B&B's. The Inn itself was clean, warm & welcoming and was decorated in a unique victorian theme (hence the name). Truly, A Quintessential , New England experience, one not to be missed if you find yoursef heading in the Bethel Maine area.

From the moment we set foot in this quaint yet elegant property, we were welcomed graciously by the Sahins whom had recently aqquired the property.! We have a rather "active" 3 year old little girl, and were concerned as to whether she might "disturb the peacefulness " of the place. They kindly relayed stories of their own travels with children in the past and made us feel right at home.

The first thing we noticed upon being escorted to our magnificent 2 story loft suite was the great attention to detail, and the cleanliness of this old victorian. I have travelled throughout the United States, and have stayed at numerous B & B's. This one was without a doubt the most elegant yet comfortable victorian house!
As if the accomodations weren't enough, we were treated to an absolute WONDERFUL breakfast 3 days in a row! We also stayed around on Sunday to enjoy the "Sunday Brunch" . We were not surprised to learn that the Sahins had previously owned a bakery! The food was absolutely outstanding!! The "sunshine squash" soup served during Sunday brunch is a "MUST TRY" !!! Once again, I am very discerning when it comes to cuisine as trying different restaurants is one of my favorite pastimes!

I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to be treated with the utmost hopitality, and friendliness. To me, The Victoria posesses all the elements of a five star accomodation.

My husband and I have been traveling from Ohio to NY then to Maine and choose to stay at the Victoria Inn in Bethel before we continued on to Boston. We had the most wonderful experience at the Victoria. The owners, Stacey and Kamil, were gracious, the food was excellent, the room was beautiful and all in all our stay was one I will remember forever. I tend to find lots of flaws when staying at B&Bs/Inns but this was above and beyond. I plan to tell everyone I know about The Victoria. The special touches were just perfect. I - WITH OUT A DOUBT - recommend staying here. A+++

We had a very pleasant stay at THE VICTORIA. I had read the reviews in Trip Advisor and almost did not book our room there, but decided to do it anyway. We were late getting there and there was an envelope, key and welcome letter waiting for us. John soon appeared and welcomed us and made suggestions of local restaurants in the area. He was right on target. We had a nice room, not elegant ,but had a tv and air- conditioning. We were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was WONDERFUL! The menu ranged from eggs, with bacon or sausage, Shirred Eggs, French Toast to Corned Beef Hash. Fresh fruit was offered also. The meal was delicious and John was very accomodating as he served us. While we did not order the Shirred Eggs, John brought some out for us to try. They were also delicious. We will definitely stay there when we visit the area again.
